Balto growled. "Don't worry, I was prepared." he said. "Step back a few feet." he said. He motioned slightly up to show them a bucket that looked to be firmly set on the roof over were Balto slept but it was on a trapdoor and full of Poison Ivy.

Balto nodded and made a shush face. "Don't want him to figure out." he sid and waited for Steele while Boris hid with the rope for the bucket.

Nica dashed behind a pile of bags and lay down, watching for steele.
Steele jumped onto the boat and aniffed around. He slipped on the icey wood but kept walking.

Balto watched Steele and stepped out when Steele was on the right spot. "You made a mistake Steele, this is my turf." he said. "I know this pace like the back of my paw." he said, lifting on paw, which was the signal for Boris.
Boris pulled the rope and the bucket of Poison Ivy tumbled and fell on Steele's head, dumping the plant all over his body, even up his nose.

"Balto I-" Steele started, no hint of tretchery in his voice. When the poison ivy fell on him his eyes burned. He wiggled free from the bucket, couched, and jumped off the boat towards his home.
"Uncle Balto? I think he wanted to say somthing..." Nica said.
Jenna had left the boat when she heard Rosy's voice, she didn't witness the poison ivy attack.

Balto sighed. "Well I hope he'll understand that I had good reason to have a trap, stay with Boris." he said. He got some herbs to help with the Poison Ivy and ran after Steele. He final caught up. "Steele, I'm sorry but you can't say I didn't have reason to have a trap, we've never gotten along, you always pick on me and try to hurt me and I have a promise to keep to Flash that I'd protect Nica." he said and dropped the herbs. "Theses will help with the itching now what were you going to say?"
Boris stayed with Nica. "I hope we didn't ruin something good."

"Balto, since my father died I've been wanting to say I'm sorry. But now I hate you!" Steele grabbed the herbs and turned to dash away, kicking snow at Balto.
"As far as I know, that malamute needs professional help!" Nica laughed.

OOC: Could maybe Steele and Balto become friends for a little bit but then them both loving Jenna comes between them? That seemed to be Steele's main motive for being mean to Balto in the movie.
Balto ran after him, catching up. "Look Steele, it was an accdent! How in the world could I have known you were coming to apologize? I don't care if you still want me to or not, I accept your apology and I don't care if it means anything but I'm sorry for dumping that bucket on you, I was just trying to protect my friends, they're all I have left alright?"
Boris nodded. "Balto was right to set that trap, he had no reason to think Steele was coming to do anything but be mean but what if we were being mistaken?"

"Ok Balto..." Steele mumbled. "I AM sorry for treating you that way, do you want to be friends?" Steele sat down and licked his paw once, it burned.

Balto smiled and nodded. "Thank you Steele...but how do we tell Nickie, Kaltag, and Star?" he asked. "I mean I'm not sure how they'll accept it." he said, though in truth knew those three were really kindhearted, he knew Steele didn't. He mixed the herbs he'd brought togather into a paste. "Here, rub this into your fur, it will stop the itching. I'm immune to Poison Ivy."
Boris nodded. "I am knowing this." he said. "What are you thinking? Why was Steele here?"
OOC: Could we have a new villain while Balto and Steele are friends? Also should we do a sequal were they make up?

Ooc: You can be the new villian, and in our Sequel to this Balto and Nica set out to find Steele after his banishment from nome?

"Lets go and tell them." Steele said as he pressed the herbs down in his fur.

OOC: Cool...how about Niju? That would explain why he hates hybrids later and he and Balto could of just forgotten about each other.
Muk and Luk gave Nija one of their useally overpowered hugs.
Balto nodded. "Alright." he said. He helpped Steele with getting the herbs in his fur. "And sorry about what happened...you know with the sled team try outs, I was only defending myself, you know?"
