It's a shame, because it's the exact same for you. Even coupled with a smartmouthed response, to call me a smartmouth little trap, ooh the irony. You really can't just can't make a post without putting your own little remarks, but seem so offended by little, trivial things in return. I don't care if you don't care about my point of view,I don't care about your's either, I just find you utterly exasperating. I need to say something about it.

How does it exactly hang on me, if you were also a part of it. You aren't showing yourself the better man, by answering the posts we gave you, then backing away (doing the bigger thing and all) and telling us we are being obnoxious little brats bent on ruining Balto Source.

And what is this that you expect someone to care if you didn't think they were important in your eyes, you just told me you didn't care what we thought of you.

My eyes are open and I can see that the internet is one of the biggest dangers to kids today but I also see that if anyone reads too deeply into anything it can seem dangerous.

I used to never do anything I thought might be the slightest bit hazardous but then I kinda realized that if I carried on like that I'd never get anywhere, now thanks to me being foolish like that I don't have a single friend offline and it's all my fault and I'm not gonna whine over it.

You must also be a pretty big fan of Balto otherwise you would'nt be posting here, on a Balto fan site.

And yes I will prove you wrong, I don't care how little you think of me for it, what the heck, I just wanna give some people a little fun in their lives, people are always posting topics whining about how bad life is and how much everything sucks but then when someone tries to bring a little fun and happiness into their lives they don't wanna know, I don't care if only 5 people show up at least those 5 people would have had a good, fun day with their friends.

One thing you'll learn about me...I don't really CARE if you've dragged me into a flame war. If I have to respond, I WILL. The readers will judge who the instigators were. No one can get along anymore, this is just a bad idea. If anymore fighting goes on I will lock this topic and from what I read some have accused other of the reason it will be locked. But it is not one person who will be the cause of locking this topic it will be many.

I'm curious to know...if we can't even get along here, what makes ANYONE think we can do it in person?

Everything was fine until people just had to argue and now everyone is gonna hate this hate this idea, great, there goes another attempt at helping people out the window, anyone got any lame ideas I can suggest coz I've run out? Based on the two things said here (and Suka, I hold nothing at all against you, FYI...and, for the time being, I have nothing negative to say about Drew's handling of this), I will only say the following:

Look at the evidence. When all else fails, there is only one thing a sensible person can fall back on: the evidence. And if you do so (like any moderator who REALLY wants to do their job would do), you'll see where the problem started...right on page 28...and it wasn't Whitewolf(uk)'s post that did it. No one can deny the evidence.

If the moderators were REALLY interested in total impartiality and fairness, and abiding by their duties without fear or without loyalty to certain friends, they would have stopped the flaming where it started...with the second post on page 28. Then we would not have had to face this...at least, not in this thread. But that's not how it works here at Balto Source.

In all truth, that would really have only been a bandage anyway. Not a cure. There is a MESS going on here at Balto Source, underneath all of the rosy posts and articles and shout box conversations. And I don't know why, but it is quite apparent that those who have the ability to stop it (the moderators and, admittedly, the administrator himself) would either a) ignore it, and hope it goes away (or even pretend like it doesn't exist); b) only deal with it when there is no other alternative...and then spread the blame and reprimand out so as not to have to actually reprimand the REAL troublemaker(s)...ESPECIALLY if those troublemakers are certain select members who either have influence of some kind on Balto Source, or have friends among the general moderators themselves; c) abide by the loyalties inherent in the friendships they've developed here rather than fulfill their responsibilities (even if it means reprimanding or banning a FRIEND).

I could go on about that mess, which seethes underneath the surface. But it would overburden this one post. A whole thread is needed. Unfortunately, there are moderators who would probably lock it right away. Because they don't want to have to deal with it. Instead, any attempt at facing and dealing with the problem is forestalled and swept under the rug. So it goes on and on and on...and people whine about how Balto Source "isn't what it used to be" or that "people are so mean", or whatever. So they start creating threads like "What if Balto Source never existed"?

Sooner or later, it's going to have to be dealt with. And that means allowing people to TALK about it. Maybe that runs the risk of arguing and flaming. But you know? While flaming SHOULDN'T be tolerated (EVER), arguing might be JUST what is needed to vent the pressure. Is it any wonder that so many other forums on the internet have their own "rant" board?

I REALLY WANT Balto Source to be a great place to visit! A great place for people to be members! But I have as much right to be here as even the first couple of members who ever joined (just as EVERY SINGLE MEMBER does...right down to the very newest one). And I have as much right to speak my mind as they do...and should not be treated differently simply because I haven't drawn any fan art, or posted fan fiction (which, incidentally, is due to change very soon), or because I started off embroiled in a conflict that I truthfully DIDN'T create! I don't want to get banned...nor do I want to make a problem for Steet, the moderators, or the members. And that's not what I'm doing. Rather, I'm pointing out the obvious problem that is keeping Balto Source from being the great place it CAN be (and maybe once was). I'm trying, again, to HELP.

But I don't see that happening so long as the status quo is maintained!

If this so called 'trip' was to be planned, if I were to go I would have not had second thoughts of bringing some form of a protection weapon to use for my safe keeping seeing fire that burns on just this topic alone.

While normally I would be adding much more fuel to the fire by just simply supporting this conflict (and mind you I still am because thats my style), but some of you people need to grow a brain in that piece of sh*t space some of you individuals call a head. I mean you people act like seagulls in a way: have something of interest you like and want people to notice, and when more people come to join you suddenly act hostile to one another and want all the glory for yourself... {and this is one of the reasons I bite back at the forums too}

Yes, I actually agree with BaltoSeppala on this one (surprising- as I normally don't support anyone here). Ever since steet made multiple moderators like this, all hell broke loose- which in terms is fun times for me and peril for everyone else suffering. Seriously, the moderators seem to lack responsibility here (sure, the absolute pointless topics are immediately locked, but thats about it). It seems in this thread they aren't doing much their 'duty' either to prevent further spread of this disease breaking loose.

I think it is good to say downfalls are sought in the near future. It seems these problems will never go away... ever. Just live with the facts. You just can't clean up something this size. Its like a scar thats enbalmed into the flesh of the site, and it will never go away...

I would go down the list about what and what-not to debate about current issues on this site, but I don't feel like wasting an hour or two trying to support one side of the war or the other. I got a life to live rather than fighting in a PHPBB forum board typing in a little post box...
