Blitz smiled at Storm as he sniffed her and her tail continued wagging. "Hello there." She then focused her attention back onto Slyth and nodded. "Hmm, interesting. Did they take too much blood I wonder?" As she asked this, she sensed she was treading on thin ice and that that more than likely was not the problem for the younger dog's odd actions. She decided she'd be better off leaving the subject alone and so addressed the other thing Slyth had said. "I guess I might. I'm a racing dog, so you might have seen me harnessed up before. Gunner is my musher."

Storm didn't like this dog, she was nosy and he turned his back to her and laid down, why couldn't everyone just be quiet...

Slyth thought a moment. "i can't really be sure. You said your name's blitze. .well the only runner i know is my brother Kodi and a few friends of his on the sled team" Slyth said, verbally thinking.
Blitze's arrival had eased his worries about Storm. While he seemed to be doing ok now, he still wanted to know what was his disease.

Storm was slowly getting tired of them all talking, he sighed in fustration and slowly walked out the room, not caring if he hit the new dog and walked straight out.

Blitz moved out of the way in order to avoid being hit by Storm on his way out. She glanced over her shoulder puzzledly at the way he had acted, but shrugged it off and then looked back to Slyth. "Guess he was tired?" She shrugged to him and then said, "Well, maybe you've just seen me around town then." She had another thought as to why she might look familiar, which had to do with the fact that she was half wolf, but few of the residents of Nome knew this about her, and though she looked up to Balto intensely, she still worried that she would be harrassed if they found out she was half.

Slyth saw Storm stop at the end of the corridor. As long as he stayed in his sight he supposed storm was ok. Turning around he addresed the newcommer.
"I think this might be another effect of his disease" Slyth said, still appologizing about storms sudden agitation

Storm lay down and relaxed, finally peace and quite without anyone making annoying conversations too stop him sleeping.

Slyth just then noticed a small feature of Blitz's. Her paws. . . glancing at his own then hers he noticed a difference.
"Hay, could you hold up your paw for a second?" Slyth asked

Storm looked out the window and saw it was open.

"Might as well have some fun" he said and jumped out the window and landed soflty in the snow, he jumped up and yawned.

Since Slyth was waiting for a response from Blitz, and he had his back to Storm, storms get away went un-noticed by him.

Had storm know what his disease was, he may not have jumped out that window. Cold temperatures only made the diesease's effects worse. . .

"Umm, yeah, sure..." Blitz said, hesitantly at first. Her heart raced inside her chest and she swallowed once as she slowly raised her paw and let the paw pads face him. Her paws had the same color as the rest of her body, and like any wolf hybrid's, larger than any normal husky's paws would be, even for some sled dogs. "Why'd you want to see my paw?" she asked slowly, the faintest hint of shakiness in her voice, though she tried to conceal the best she could.

Slyth looked of her paw for a minute. The shape of her paw was familiar. He then held up his own white furred, paw and pressed it against hers. Noticing the difference in size.
"Blitz, your part wolf" Slyth said a grin streaching across his face. She was the 2nd he'd ever met.

Blitz's ears immediately flattened against her skull as he said this and her mind reeled. What would she say? What would she do? She saw the amusement on his face and knew without a doubt that he wasn't judging her like the other dogs would, and was extremely grateful for this. She took a quiet breath before she sort of blushed and grinned like she'd been caught. "Guess you caught me. Yeah, my dad was a wolf and my mom was one of Gunner's breeding huskies."
