Amali sighed.

"I just hope you're right."

(Sorry I keep being so late, I've sprained my shoulder bone and it's killing me, I need to rest it)

- I am, trust me, Sergei smiled and nudged her.

(It's alright. Take all the rest you need.)

Amali purred in her throat and licked him. She was surprised as she suddenly felt tired than she normally would.

(Glad you understand.. I am a little better already)

Sergei looked at his mate, and could tell by the way she acted that she needed rest.

-Come on, I'll take you home, he said with a gentle voice and poked her cheek with his nose.

(I've come down with sprains more times than I can count^^ and that's great)

"Thanks," Amali said, her voice full of gratefulness.

(Me too, just never this painful x.x)

- That's what I'm here for, Sergei smiled at his mate.

(It's like there's a knife in your back, but it just isn't there, isn't it?)

Amali followed Sergei all the way back to their tiny cave. Once inside, she put her head on her paws and looked at Sergei.

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" she asked him. "It'll be a few months before the cub or cubs are born. What do you think they'll be?"

(Exactly, feels like someone's literally stabbing you in the back)

Sergei sat down on the ground, and chewed Amali's question for a while.

- I don't really know, I suppose either would be fine, he then said with a smile and raised his eyebrows.

(Same feeling when my ankle got sprained. It pained so much I couldn't walk, yet I had no choice but to climb five floors in my school. I had to wear a uniform and the foot was under sock and shoe, so no one knew about it)

Amali lay her head beside his paw.

"Me too, although deep inside I've always wanted a baby girl."

(I know right. Oh, once when I was at a RL concert, and the drummer threw his drumsticks to the audience, one of them flew right above MY head, and I was just about to grab it, when some drunken woman kicked me on my heel. I would've fell to the ground if my friend hadn't catched me. And after that I couldn't walk properly, my friends had to get me away from the stage. Do you know how angry I was back then?)

- Yeah, a girl could be good, but I guess it could be fun to have a little boy too, then I could teach him all my moves, Sergei said with a grin.

(I'm guessing pretty angry^^ I've never been to a concert before, at least a rock one. I've performed in a few sitar concerts myself. And sorry I'm late. I spent the night with my cousin brother and I only just got back.)

Amali laughed.

"And you'd be a stupid over-protective father with our daughter, won't you?"

(VERY angry. I could have had that drumstick, if it wasn't for that... I can't even say that word here. Oh well, injuries are part of rock concerts! xD And no problem^^)

- I suppose I would be, Sergei said with a chuckle.

(Wow, now that's pretty angry)

Amali looked at him with a glint of humor in her eyes.

"What do you want to call them? Want to think of some names?"

(Tell me about it! I've never been so angry in my life. Course, you may think it's silly to freak like that over just a drumstick, but to me it's special.)

- Hmm, I don't know... that depends on whether they're a boy or a girl, or both... but I was thinking, maybe for a girl Abeni would be a good name, what do you think? Sergei then asked, raising his eyebrows.

(I know, I'd freak out like that if it was my favourite band's drumstick)

Amali nodded. "Sounds like a great name."
