Blaine Sensed trouble, and like Eureka he swerved around, immediantly seeing Everett growling. Blaine stood, but was still close enough to brush up against Eureka.
"This is our chance Re, you can have me here to back you up." Blaine realized he called her Re(rii) and blushed.

"WHAT do you THINK you're doing here?" Everett growled at Eureka.
"Everett i-" Eureka said, flattening her ears.
"YOU better GET over here, Reka," Everett said with bared teeth. Eureka lowered her head and rose to her paws, as if to go.

Blaine stepped protectivley infront of Eureka, and growled.
" i THINK im protecting Reka here from a MONSTER!!" He snapped bristling. Blaine refused to let Reka be bullied any longer.

Eureka looked up at Blaine, amazed he'd stand up for her.
"This isn't any of your business!" Everett's fur bristled angrily. "She is MY girl. I decide what she DOES and doesn't DO."

Blaine snarled and his hackles rose, though he stood his ground firmly.
"YOU do NOT OWN her Everett!! She isn't YOURS!! She makes her OWN desicions!!! BACK OFF!" Blaine took a step forward bristling, though he'd never been in a fight before.

Everett paused, then laughed. "You're gonna fight...me?" he snickered. "I'm not in any way scared of you." He growled, showing his teeth. "I use mutts like you for throw toys."

Blaine stopped, thinking about his ferther decisions, then snarled again.

"You can say all you want, but i'll never back down." And with that, Blaine Lunged, teeth bared, a full fledged death machine.

Both Everett and Reka were caught of guard. Everett growled and attempted to throw Blaine.
"Everett! Leave him alone!" Eureka begged.

At that moment, Blaine new it was up to him to help kill Rekas problem, so he held on for dear life. Blaine sank his teeth in deeper into Everett's shoulder blade.

Everett snarled in pure fury and whirled about, throwing Blaine off. But, before Everett could lunge at Blaine, Reka rammed into his side, and knocked him into the water.
Everett yelped and began splashing around.

Blaine helped, as his rib cracked, and lay on the ground helpless against Everett's wrath. But the he heard a splash a series of yelps and he blacked out.

Eureka ignored Everett completely as Everett disappeared down the stream. She was the only one, other than Everett himself, that knew he couldn't swim.
"Blaine?" Eureka whines as she crept over to him, laying beside him.

Blaine heard Eureka's voice as he slipped in and out of conciousness, and he wimpered.
"R-reka? Wheres..... Everett?" He trmebled slightly as she sat down beside him.

"Gone," Eureka said softly. "Done the stream. He can't swim." She lay beside him, her nose on his scruff.

Blaine rolled his big head around, until his head was completely covered by Eureka's neck, and a small tear ran down his cheek fur. He inhaled her scent, and thumped his tail on the ground.

"Im sorry Reka....." He said.
