Kyler allowed herself to breathe again when she saw Damien trying to calm down. She rubbed up and down his arms. "Thank you." she whispered so only he could hear. She tried to look at Chase and confront him about the whole thing, but still couldn't. She ended up staring at her feet, as usual. Finally, she mumbled at the ground, "It was nice until you got here."

"What?" Kyler said to no one in particular, confused as to the situation. She glanced up at Damien, who seemed to be getting angry again, and Chase and Zee were in their own personal quarrel as well. What the h**l am I gonna do? she thought, feeling stupid at the moment. She facepalmed and stayed that way for a minute, letting the scene unravel. "C'mon you guys..."

Kyler elbowed Damien in the ribs. Then she said to Chase through clenched teeth, "Well what if we didn't want to be bothered at the moment?"

Kyler shrugged and scratched the back of her head. "Well," she said. "Then what do you want to do Chase? What would you like to do?!" she added irratably, making sure her grumpiness was apparent.
