The other team of dogs waited for opportunities to attack them and they took them and fled away before the other team that were fighting each other could attack them back.
David ignored the other dogs and kept on fighting with Temple. He said angrily "One of us is going to die today and it's not going to be me b****!!!!"

David growled at Temple and the dogs attacked him before he could finish her off. He killed the other two dogs and the humans came and got Temple and David. He snarled at Temple while they put her and David in the same cage again. When the humans left, David snarled for a while but calmed down afterwords. He licked Temple and asked himself "Why do we continue to do this to each other? I know now that I don't love Temple but it doesn't mean that I'm not fond of her."

Temple glared at David and faced the door of the cage.

"I second that. It DOES take one to know one but I'm trying to say sorry and make it up to you because I am fond of you and I don't want to lose you. Tell me what I have to do to prove my fondness of you to you."
