A small spark of hope formed in Sadie's heart right then, making her amber eyes warm. "No, they won't be killed, Rio!" she said with conviction. Her numbness was changing to excitement...maybe there was a chance after all. "Ai won't kill them right away, or harm them! She's going to do something to me first, and then make me watch as she does something to the pups. And then she'll probably kill me. But Rio, we may have the time to try and find them again! Maybe there is hope after all!"

"Well, maybe we should let me heal first, if you are right. then we have to find them. And hopefully the pups will still be good." Rio Said.

Sadie had forgotten that one fact. Rio did need to heal, but then again, they wouldn't have much time before Ai did something--most likely horrible. "We can't wait though," she said, growing a bit frustrated. "How long will it take you to heal, max?" she asked suddenly. The two healed a bit quicker than most, and maybe he would heal in time after all.

Ooc: Fail, you said "Max" and not "Rio" xP

---

"Not long. Maybe like a week. I hope she won't do anything bad in that time." Rio said.

Ooc:// Actually, it was short for maximum, such as the opposite of minimum. But it does sound like that...whoops.

---------

"Knowing Ai, she probably will," Sadie said, the frustration returning. "I'm sorry, Rio. I'm going to have to save them myself."

----------

Ooc:// I was wondering...if they're already so unnatural, why not make Sadie have a healing ability? It would add a new twist.

Ooc: That would be AWESOME! xP Make it where she didn't know she had it.
Ooc: Also, I want an adventure on the way finding them, make it more interesting.

---

"What? You can't do it on your own! You will need me!" Rio said.

Ooc:// Of course. ;)

Sadie sighed. "I don't know what to do then." Even though she appeared resigned, she was filled with fear, sadness, and frustration. Honestly, the emotions were a bit extreme when mixed together. She touched her nose to Rio's leg, her white eyes flashing. A sudden wave of heat coursed through her body, along with a tingling sensation that seemed to even linger in her fur. This continued for a moment, and when all returned to normal, she was looking at a healed leg. "What just happened?" she gasped.

Rio stood up, it was painless.

"Did you just... heal me? I don't feel pain anymore!" Rio gasped too.

He glanced at Grant.

"What about Grant? Should we heal him?" Rio wondered.

Sadie felt sympathy tug at her heart, demanding her to heal him, but her dark memories reminded her the damage he could cause. She stood still, her eyes locked onto the injured wolf, incredibly hesitant and uncertain about doing either. After a silent moment, she came to a decision. "Yes. I can't just let him lay there, injured." Her tone was determined, and she walked forward, and touched her nose to the point in between his eyes. The heat and tingling returned, and like before, it faded quickly.

Grant woke up. He wasn't hurting anymore.

"Wh-Wha? What happened? Why am I not hurting anymore?" Grant Asked.

"Sadie just healed you." Rio said.

"She did? Well I thank her then. I saw what Ai and Ryan did to your puppies, then it came to my mind, why are they so mean? Now I want to help you get the puppies back." He said.

Rio was suspicious.

"And what will you gain from this? When will you betray us?" Sadie asked. She had felt as if she had done her good deed that day, and she didn't feel as if she could trust him yet.

"I won't betray you. I have been with them for a long time, but now that they steal your kids, that just seems cruel. I want to redeem myself. I understand why you don't trust me, because what I have done in the past, I am sorry." Grant said.

"I don't think I can believe you. You could just pretend to be with us and then when we get there you do something bad. How could we believe you?!" Rio Said.

Sadie gently pulled Rio aside. "We should let him stay for a little bit, and act like we trust him. Pretend I convinced your or something. But we'll keep our eyes open and ears pricked...maybe we'll even be able to glean some information about Ai's plans."

"I guess so." Rio whispered back.

He went back to grant.

"I think I trust you now. Sadie convinced me. Lets go." Rio said.

"Okay." Grant said. and he followed Rio who started walking.

Sadie stood behind Grant, placing him in between Rio and her. If he tried to make a break for it, which was unwise, he would quickly be apprehended.
