Dante slowly morphed

Sam backed away in wolf form until Thorn was out of sight, then ran like hell. When she got near school she changed back to human. She checked her watch. "great, 5 minutes early." sam muttered. she sat down on a over turned tree.

Dante sat next to her "So,whats first lesson" he asked

"History." said sam. She was thinking hard. "er..., Dante?" asked Sam, she felt awkward, but she needed to get it of her mind.

"yeah" said Dante,Looking at her

Sam looked away from his eyes. "er, with susie... i saw you kiss her and..."sam choked at the end. she couldn't get out any more. She was crying, silent tears rolling down her face.

Dante wiped away his tears "that meant nothing" he promised "I love you"

Sam felt slightly happier. "i came around the corner and there you were. Susie getting what she wanted as normal, even if some one wanted and needed it more than her." sam flooded into a new set of tears. "You must have heard me gasp. It was so load people in China would probably have heard." sam sniffled. The tears were still in full flow.

"Sam, you should buy shares in tissues" he grinned 2Stop crying ok? im yours"

"And i'm yours, i dont care what you say. there's just a slight complication in that. Susie would have told the whole school that you were her boyfriend, and she is going to get suspicious if you keep coming into my house isn't she." said Sam miserably. Everything seemed stacked against her and Dante ever having a happy life together.

"And do I looklike I care what Suzy said?"

"no, but i do. I was never bullied as a kid, i used to be the popular kid around here, of course i never dressed or acted like her, and i will never be as pretty as her when she stakes some of that make up off, but i was still the popular kid. Until i got asked out by a boy. apparently, i commit myself to a relationship to much." said Sam, remembering from when she had been in the in crowd. " i got dumped by him. Susie could make my life hell if she wanted to and there would be nothing me or you could do about it. So, if you dont mind, i dont want to take the risk."

Dante grinned "Anyone starts on you tell me k? I can get the better of some years 11's, I can get the better of susie"

"her family are massive and theres rumour that thay have guns. The youngest apart from susie are in year 11. Sorry Dante. God, how are we going to get out of this mess?!" moaned sam, putting her face in her hands and wishing the ground would swollow her up whole. "why cant my life be easy for a change?" muttered Sam, her vioce muffled by her hands.
