Maura's ears flattened to her head as a strong wind passed through. She growled. Another dreary winter storm... She though, getting up and bounding through the cold to catch up with Taka. She pressed against him for warmth, nuzzling him caringly and closing her eyes. She let out a content sigh; everything seemed to be better when she was with him. "I love you..." She wispered. The wind picked up her words and sent them floating on through the mountains.

"cool" said Taka he bounded towards Nome.When they got there he snook down a few alley ways and saw a dog being jhit by a man.He growled and lunged he sank his teeth into the mans hand drawing blood."Balto" gasped the man mistaking Taka for his bvrother.
((an explanation of why Balto was hated in nome))

Maura's eyes widened in disbelief. "Taka!" She shouted. She was violent herself, but she had never seen Taka be this mad on first sight. Maybe the man had a reason for hitting the dog; maybe it bit him first! "Taka, don't!" She grabbed her mate by the scruff and dragged him off the man, but the man screiched and hollered. He threw his hand out to slap Taka, but Maura leaped infront, taking the hit on her face.

This made taka even more mad.He grabbed hold of the mans leg and shook it violently.There was a sickening crunch wich told of a broken leg bu Taka bdidnt care. he sank his teeth into the mans stomach.There was a gun blast that hit Takas foot.He howled in pain and staggered backwards.

"NO!" Maura sobbed. "Stop! I've seen enough violence!" But the man didn't stop, and neither did Taka. She closed her eyes, and her body fell to the ground. Her soul left the limp body, and dashed away, tears streaking the ground behind her. She was not dead, just escaping.

Iron heared a gunshoot in the town he eyes widen in fear and he ran to the town to see taka fighting a human
'Taka lets go you have done a lot of damage he wont do it again' he said
Then he pulled him back

Taka staggered backwards.Then he saw Maura,His eyes flashed red and he let out a menaceing howl.He wanted to hurt someone to kill something.He bit hard into his own leg to stop himself.The pain made him want to cry out but he kept quiet.He looked at the man and growled,his whole body was shaking out of...well every emotion you can imagine.He gulped then ran off.

Maura's soul flinched in pain, and she dashed back to her body to see the man kicking it. "Don't! I'm still here!" She shouted, but nobody could hear her in spirit form. She slid back into her body, something that took hard consentration, and yelped when she was struck again.
