"Please.PLEASE!"Snowclaw knew what was going on,"Would you rather DIE?"She asked.

Lightpaw jumped in the den,a small pan of water in his jaws.He set it down and rinsed the berries in it,and them SnowClaw's paws.They didnt smell like anything but forest,now."Try now,Sn..Er..Frostpaw."He said,quickly coming up with the idea to try and mask her idenity.

She nodded to him and pinned her ears,trying again.

frostpaw began to wonder why lightpaw had not told snowclaw to do this but all he did was listen so he began to wash the beries and said " i'm sorry williowtail i ws justrying to help winterclaw" hopping that his excuse would be enough to keep him out of trouble

"Your forgivie."Willowtail said,kindness in her eyes.

Frostpaw felt less tense about things know but still asked " what is wrong with winterclaw?"

"I don't know."Willowtail said."But I gessing that it's an infection."

" oh well umm how are we going to stop him from throwing up his guts?" asked frostpaw

"Don't know.I've tried every thing I know."

"Willowtail,I know you are going to have a bad idea about me,but please,PLEASE feed him the berries.It'll make him better,"Snowclaw gave them to Willowtail

frostpaw said " please willotial he won't seem to listen to us but he might listen to you"

"All right,I'll try."Willowtail said,relutently."Wintercalw,please,eat the barries.Please?"

Snowclaw's paw was replaced by Willowtail's paw and a sweet scent mingled with that of the berries. His clenched, shut eyelids softened up and he looked at Willowtail with sickly narrowed eyes. He pulled the edge of a berry towards him, he used his tongue to motion it into his aching, vomit covered, jaws. He chewed, the sour juices sliding around his mouth and down his throat. A jerk in his stomach told him what was coming, he turned away from the others and spit up the berry he had tried to eat.
'Bad timing...' He thought in his head, reluctantly he turned back to the others. Did he look horrid? His fur was surely to be messed up.
He took in more berries and chewed them slowly, the pain in his jaws was numbed by the sweetness of the berries. He slumped to Willowtail's feet, his breathing slightly irregular but his stomach felt better than it had before.
'These berries sure work fast...' He thought as he drifted into a much needed, deep sleep. Willowtail's scent surrounded him, comforting him on his way to his dreams.

Willowtail staied behind."Come on,Winterclaw,lets get you to a softer place to sleep."
