"Makes sense." said Balto. At Mr. Samson's question, he, Fang, Cachen, and Lena all nodded at the same time.
Cachen yelped as he saw his brother was aiming at him. He ran and hid behind Kodi.
Fang turned his head away from the strong stink. "Not a good idea Tai, you might get sick, smoke isn't a good thing to inhale for a whole night." he said. He went over to the sled and got the doggy bed Rob had put on the slad for the four pups and brought it back ."Rob packed this for the four of you to sleep in, guess he didn't see Lena getting skunked coming."
Lena whimpered. "I'm sorry Tai, I didn't know there was a skunk in that bush." she said. This wasn't the first time the four pups had to spend a stinky night togather, last time it was Kai's fault.

Mr. Simpson laughed, continuing to make the fire.
Kai raised a brow at Cachen, before spitting the quills at the ground.
Kodi looked at Cachen and looked sternly at Kai, who turned completely innocent looking.
Tai nodded, looking around as she thought. "you're right, you're right..." she looked to Lena, a smile over her face. "It's not your fault Lena, it was an accident."
Jenna smiled lightly, giving a tilt to her head. "I suppose so. Let's hope the next day is better."

"Well we're going to have to ether run with Lena stinking up the place or spend some time deskunking her." said Jenna.
Cachen licked Kodi's maw. He leapt on his brother as soon as Kai was done getting out the quils, wanting to play.
"Yeah, Tai is right." said Fang.
"I guess you're right." said Lena, smiling despite her burning nose.

"I know, Balto, I know. But I think Mr. simpson will give Lena a bath. I just don't want to imagine what her fur will look like after ward." said Jenna, holding back a chuckle.
Kai yelped, the last quill dropping form his mouth as he was tackled. Turning to see Cachen he growled playfully, batting him on the head.
Kodi chuckled, walking over to Lena and placing a paw over her shoulders.
Tai smiled, giving Lena's cheek a small lick. "Ughh." she gave a grimace.

Cachen tackled Kai again, causing both pups to roll down a small hill and hit Tai, knocking all three pups into the same bush Lena got skunked in. "You alright?" he asked then noticed a mother and father skunk with a litter of kits. "Aww." he said then saw the skunks lift their tails at them. "Uh oh." he said as all three pups where sprayed. He covered his nose at the horrible stench.
Fang smelled the extrememly strong stench. "Uh Kodi." he coughed, covering his nose.
Balto gaged as the skunk smell got stronger. "Pu, not just Lena." he muttered.
Lena couldn't help but laugh at her siblings until the extrememly strong stench hit her nose. "Eww!"

Tai coughed, glaring at both her brothers. "Very. Cute..." she said in a low tone, her claws tapping against the ground. "Least we won't mind Lena's smell...How very fortunate of us."
Jenna turned, trying to hold back a strong laugh. "It couldn't get much worse than this." she said
Kodi's head fell, ears lopping forward. "All FOUR?!" he asked ot no one in particular "Wow..."
Kai gagged and coughed, shaking his head to get rid of the smell. "Ughh!"
Mr. Simpson gagged enough to nearly throw up, looking to see the three other pups lying jumbled together and sprayed.

"Sorry..." said Cachen, intrupted by a cough. "Guys. I didn't know." he said, covering his nose tightly and rolling on the ground, trying to get the smell off.
Balto blinked. "Man...what are the odds of that?" he asked, laying down so he could put both paws over his nose.
Fang coughed. "Man Kodi, isn't this a new record?" he asked, also laying down to put both paws over his nose.
Lena looked a little green in the face. "Papa, I don't feel so good." she said.

"Mhm," Kodi nodded to Fang, looking at Lena. "Sick how? Sick to your sotmach or sick sick?" he asked, looking concerned.
Mr simpson walked over, gloves on once more. Her took each of the three pups, and begin to wash their eyes out.
"Only with us I suppose" said Jenna, holding her stomach. "Ugh, I feel worse than before."
"It's okay." Tai said, getinng her eyes washed out. "you wrere just all haywire. that's all." she smiled.
Kai nodded. "she's right, Cachen it was an accident."

"I know." said Balto, trying not to smell the strong skunk smell.
"Well on the brightside no wild animal will come within 2 miles of us." said Fang.
"Alright." said Cachen. "Oh this is terrible!"
"Sick to my stomach." said Lena. Suddenly she ran behind a tree and threw up, in the process knocking Kodi into the bush with the skunks.

Kodi yelped, trying his best to scurry out of the bush. Once back up, he was only slightly sprayed. He sighed. "God."
Tai nodded, shuddeirng. "It is isn't it?" she asked.
Jenna looked at Lena as she shot pass them. "She hbas a..." she choked back a gag "A good idea!" Jenna dashed off, gagging and coughing.
Mr. simpson blinked in confusion at what had just happened, taking Cachen and rubbing his eyes with the cloth.

Balto laughed. "You alright Kodi?" he asked.
Fang went over to Balto to get away from the smell. He looked back to see the family of skunks had gotten VERY MAD at the repeated interuptions and came out of the bush before spraying him and Balto. "Oh man!" he said, he and Balto falling to the ground, holding their noses.
Cachen licked Mr. Samson's hand in thanks then looked at Fang and Balto. "What are the odds of that?"
Lena looked at Jenna. Then her eyes went wide. "Grandma, you might want to hold your breath." she said, seeing the skunks had came over and had their tails lifted at Jenna, ready to spray.

Mr. simpson had had enough of the skunks and knowing their deadline he grabbed pots and pans form the sled. He stood up, beginning to bang them toggether and yelling threats.
Kodi blinked, ears pinned back "Least no one will mind the smell anymore..."
Jenna stood stiff, looking to Mr. simpson as he banged the pots from a fair distance.
Kai held his nose. "Very bad odds apparently, Cachen."

Lena pulled Jenna's bandana off as the skunks sprayed Jenna so it didn't get musk on it. The skunks ran off, both because of Mr. Samson and because they were content that they thought the dogs had been taught a lession. "Grandma, I made sure your bandana didn't get stinky."
Cachen whimpered. "The whole sled team is skunked." he said.
Fang looked up at Mr. Samson. "Thank goodness the skunks are gone."
"Well now we all stink." said Balto, paws still on his nose.

Tai sat down numbly. "Anyone else dizzy?" she asked
Kai nodded at his sister's question, both paws over his nose.
Jenna chuckled a moment. "Sure, I get sprayed and you think of my bandana." she laughed.
Kodi nodded. "I know son I know." he said, giving a cough.
Mr. simpson patted Fang on the head, giving a slight gag at the grouped scent.

"A little." said Cachen, keeping his paws over his nose tightly.
Fang licked Mr. Samson's hand and whimpped, showing his eyes, some musk had gotten into them.
Balto looked to Kodi. "What are the odds of this?" he asked, keeping a paw on his nose.
"Cachen said the one you gave him was really special so I thought this one was too and if it got skunk spray on it, they might have to throw it away." said Lena. "And if you want you can wrap it around your nose to help against the skunk spray."
