They had gotten Toothless to meet Nightlock, and once they had gotten reacquainted, Toothless seemed his normal self again. "I'd better get home," Hiccup said, massaging his chest as they watched the furies wrestling eachother. "Watch over Toothless for me?" He asked as he waled towards the entrance of the arena. Nova nodded, transfixed by the happy dragons.

Ashling laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She was quite splayed out, one leg off the bed.

Hiccup entered the room slowly, waiting to see if Ashling was awake or not.

Ashling sat up. "Hey, Hiccup," she greeted him. "You know you have a really comfy bed."

Hiccup grinned. "Privileges of being the chief's son, I guess. Sorry for taking so long. Nova is watching after Toothless, since i cant really ride him in my condition, and there was a problem with Nightlock and Toothless But its all resolved now. What did you do while I was gone?"

She smiled warmly at him. "Nah, it's fine. It's what you do." She swung her other leg off the bed. She stretched. "I mostly sat around. Had nothing better to do than lay in your bed since I disn't want to snoop."

"Oh, alright. You wanna do something?" Suddenly there was another knock at the door. Ashling looked at Hiccup - "You have to go again, don't you?" Asked Ashling. Hiccup sometimes wished he wasn't such a popular person in the village; then he could spend more time with his friends. "I guess so, but I'll be back asap!" Hiccup walked downstairs and every few steps he would grab his stomach as if he were in pain. "You okay?" Asked Ashling walking just out of the room. "Ye-yeah. Don't worry about me." He continued downstairs.

(Boy! You two get on here and post post post now!)

She watched his painful movements for a few moments before shaking her head and standing. "No. I'm helping you out." she walked over to asist him down the stairs.

"Thanks." They both walked down the stairs together. When they reached the bottom, Hiccup said thanks and opened the door to see Astrid. "Hiccup, Stormfly is acting strange!" Then Fishlegs, the twins, and Snotlout ran up to his door all yelling at once. "Stop!" Hiccup yelled. "Now, one at a time." They all said how their dragons were acting strange ever since this morning. Hiccup realized something. "Wait a sec, Nova got her dragon this morning, and that's when your dragons stared acting strange. There's something weird about that other Night Fury. Lets to check it out."

"Ohhh, no," Ashling's patience broke, and she glared at the others. "Is it life-threatening? Because of not, Hiccup's been out All day with broken ribs. He really needs to rest, otherwise he's never going to heal. Surely he usn't the only one in the whole villiage who can help!" she paused, staring at the sky. An image of her two dragons flashed through her mind. "Look, here. It may just be stress - you've introduced a new dragon into their established... What, flock? Herd? - anyway, I'll check with Zornroo and Thunderburn. If they don't react unfavorably, that could be the issue. We'll check her with dragons not associated closely with the 'herd', and if we feel like there's an issue with them, then we can disturb Hiccup." she looked hopefully at them - she would have really liked to stay with her friend, but if there was an issue that needed fixed and he could keep Hiccup away from the stress, she'd do it.

"Okay, everyone, go find a dragon. I'll go get Nova." Astrid said, taking charge. "Fishlegs, you go with Snotlout, Ruff and Tuff go together, and you can go get your dragons," Astrid said, addressing Ashling.

She nodded. "That shouldn't take too log, but the forest isn't quite safe at night. Can I get an escort in case of predators? Not all dragons ate tame, after all."

"Sure. C'mom." Said Astrid leading Ashling out the door. Hiccup went back upstairs and laid down to rest.

Ashling glanced back hesitantly. She'd left her satchel. She decided to come back for it later, and went on a direct b-line toward her home. She glanced at Astrid, feeling a tad awkward - after all, she knew Astrid and hiccup had dated. And all Astrid knew was that Ashling had come to the door with hi-

Oh, no. she thought, suddenly a bit panicked. She wasn't sure, but thought Astrid still wanted Hiccup... And Ashling was stupid enough to drag herself further into the mess.

"You okay?" Asked Astrid turning to look back at Ashling.
