David nodded, pulling his arm over and away from his mother. Not looking for support. "Yeah." He said and winced. As he made his way back inside another arrow went through his sleeve and straight through his arm. David was jerked forward, yelling out as the arrow jabbed into the wall before him. Anna gasped, looked around the trees. The guards were outside ransacking the near forest, looking for the shooter. David stumbled in, nearly falling over a table.

Alex glanced around as she watched the arrow make contact with David, she gritted her teeth and moved into the trees, sick of standing around.

Felix drew his sword and glanced around.

David finally fell onto a table. Just laying there until some of the medics moved him to a different room. They were so handy. Anna walked back outside, picking up his sword and looking around. When another arrow was shot past her she stood firmly, twirling to sword in her hand. Robin made one mistake, stepping back on a branch. Down he fell, Anna laughed. Pointing at him.

Alex sprinted into the trees and grabbed Robin's arm, yanking him to his feet and placing her sword at his throat, moving him into the open.

Robin whistled, his men running to his aid with swords and arrows ready. Robin quickly broke free and smirked, running off into the shadows. He was no coward, but he would be back soon enough. David was getting his wounds cleaned out, they had to take his shirt off to do it so he was cold and self consious at that time. He'd never been self concious before. Maybe it was because there was a pretty lady here that could at any time walk in and see him like that.

Alex would have ran after Robin, but she knew she was far outnumbered, she sheathed her sword and moved inside after everyone.

Anna stood there until she felt as though she needed to leave. Which was about 3 minutes later. Anna went straight to David, "Are you okay?" She asked again, clutching his hand. David looked at her, "Yeah mom they're just scratches." He said with a weak chuckle. He wasn't in the mood really.

Alex walked up to Felix, she talked softly with him for a moment, telling his that Robin and his men had gotten away. Felix nodded understandingly and walking over to David.

One of the medics dropped about a handful of hot water on him by accident, making his cuts sting like fire. David winced, his arm twitched with pain. Anna scowled at them for a brief second then focused on her son. Just then, the hawk swooped in through the window, perching on the window sil. Very loyal.

Felix returned to his son, trusting Alex to guard the doorway. He stood still watching as the medical physicians did what they could.

David could feel his heart beat in his head, reaching up carefully he rubbed his forehead. Wincing as the pain grew worse. He had a horrible head ache. David sighed, dropping his hand down by his side and looking at his hawk. He held his hand out, the hawk flapped over and landed. Scaley feet wrapped around David's hand and wrist.

Alex glanced back into the room, "Doing alright there, my liege?" she asked, knowing the pain he felt. Being a girl had been hard in the beginning, when she'd been training to be a knight. She'd broken a good many bones and had more bruises than not. She stood alert, ready to defend him again if she could.

Felix moved to the door to take her post and let her talk to him. Who knew, maybe she'd be good for his son.

David looked up at her and nodded, pulling his arm back over to his side painfully. The falcon thatrested on his hand took great interest in his wound, putting his beak down and pecking at it. David winced and moved the bird away. "Stop that!" He ordered, scaring the bird but making him stop.

Alex smiled, "I'll take him, if you'd like." she said, offering a gloved hand so the bird would leave him alone, but stay close. She hoped she was being helpful and not bothersome. She hated the thought of being bothersome. But, she tried her best. She brushed her hair from her face and looked at him expectantly.

David lifted his arm slowly, taking his hand and grasping her's so the bird could just walk from his hand to her's. When the falcon climbed onto Alex's hand David pulled his hand back down. The medics wroking around Alex. They handed him a glass of water. David sipped slowly, feeling a deep and sharp pain in his chest and throat, but the water was too good for him to stop. David finished off the water before setting the cup down, laying his head back with an icy cold cloth resting on his forehead.
