Kisasi nodded and started off towards the spot where they encountered the lionesses. As he drew nearer to the spot, he couldn't see any sign of them. Just to be sure, he signaled to Hatima to crouch down and slowly crawled towards the clearing.

Kisasi bolted across the clearing, hearing the hard pounded of hooves behind him. He flew across the ground. As they came to another clearing, he spotted a slightly concealed cave on the side. "Karani! This way!" He yelled diving into the cave. Ha lay on the cool floor breathing hard and peering into the darkness. "Karani, you there?" he asked

Kisasi had the breath knocked out of him as Karani landed on top of him. "You alright?" He managed to ask Karani as he gasped for breath.

Kisasi heard Karani's growl and glanced up. Seriously? How many more rogues could there be around here? He shot up off the ground and placed himself in front of Karani. "What do you want?" Kisasi growled fiercely.
