"Yeah, and happy birthday," Alfred said, standing up. "We got ya' something!" Alfred exclaimed excitedly running out of the room. Arthur sat still on the floor, a smile on his face as Alfred ran back in with a present.
"Hapy belated birthday Kat!"

"Hey, you guys, you didn't need to get me anything!" Kat laughed, looking at the present. She began unwrapping.

In the box was a Shirt that said "Best friend ever!", and a picture Alfred and Kat had made when they were kids.

"Aw duudde!!! I'm gonna start crying!" Kat said, looking over the shirt. The colors splattered across the shirt, and the drawing was sketchy and didn't really look like anything but a blob. Kat felt her eyes heat up, and tears spill over her eyes. But they were happy tears, good memories.

Alfred hugged her and smiled.
"Glad you like it."

Kat felt something, she was trying so hard to stay numb. But when Alfred hugged her, he broke all sheilds. Kat wavered, then hugged him back quickly, before breaking away. She was mad at herself, she didn't want to feel anything anymore.

Alfred smiled and pulled away.
"Awesome."

Kat stretched sleepily and looked at the carpet. "I'm bored, I haven't done these kinds of things in a long time. I feel like getting...Never mind..." Kat said.

"Drunk?" Arthur teased. Alfred laughed, and sighed.
"We could go see a movie..?"

31_Flavors · **Posted:** Wed Dec 21, 2011 9:23 pm

Kat nodded at both of their comments, "Yeah, and sure. I'll see a movie." Kat said.

"There's...nothing really good on.." Alfred hummed, peeking over Arthur's shoulder to look at the paper.

"Oh...Welllll...Wanna just...Get high or something? Wait...You guys like doing legal things..." Kat laughed.

Egg · **Posted:** Wed Dec 21, 2011 9:44 pm

Alfred pretened to say yes, earning an elbow to his ribs from Arthur.
"Yeah keeping it Legal would be nice!" He chimed.

"Hmm....Well, I dunno then." Kat admitted.

Arthur laughed.
"Of course you don't." He said sarcastically, folding up the paper and sipping his tea again.
"Why don't you go..bake..something?" He offered weakly.
