Mishka smiled brightly and jumped a little 'Does this mean I can stay?" She felt her tail wagging quickley as the black and white husky felt hope.

Nika entered the house, her tail low "Lucky? You home?" She called, her sweet voice echoing off the walls.

"Yeah, of course you can stay. We got plenty of spare rooms, and the rents cheap." Zero said, smiling back. He felt his tail wagging out of happiness and his heart leapt... But he didn't know why still.

Charlie was puzzled by this new Grayears person he scratched his head, "Who the heck is Grayears?" he asked starring at Zero.

Zero rolled his eyes. "You. It was a joke, you forgot what you were going to say to me, I said that's what happens when you get old and then I added that to the end. Sheesh, and you think I'm slow." He smiled.

Charlie gave Zero a dirty look, "I only like to be called by my name and my name only," Charlie snapped back at Zero, crossing his arms and pointing his snout back up into the air.

"And what if I only like being called by mine?" Zero said jokingly, showing he didn't care much whether Carlie used 'Z' or 'Zero'.

Charlie had a look of devistation written accross his face, "Ya mean you don't like it?"

"Charlie you have a lot to learn about playful moods." Zero said, patting his back. "Of course I like it ya big mutt."

Charlie frantically tried to find an excuse, "I... was... umm.... joking. I was just joking, I know you like it." Responded Charlie rubbing the back of his head and forcing a fake smile.

Zero decided to just drop it by ruffling both Itchy's and Charlie's ears. "You guys are the best pals a guy can have in a place like this."

"Thanks and you are better than Itchy you are actually entertaining and well... he is a weiner dog who wears a baseball cap." Charlie said taking the bill of the cap and pulling it over Itchy's eyes.

Itchy readjusted his cap so he could see once again. "Thanks" Itchy said rolling his eyes at Charlie.

"Oh come on, you can't let me replace your best friend. It's not right. I'll take the second slot if you don't mind."

Mishka laughed "Yeah, I think I'll like staying with you uys and the singer chick that just left." She laughed, tail wagging.

"It will be nice to have someone who will help clean this place up." Charlie said dragging his paw along the counter top. "It has been a pleasure to meat you," Charlie usually isn't this polite until it comes with girls then he is Mr. Nice and Polite Dog.

Zero looked at Itchy questioningly, wondering about Charlie's behavior.
