Kali saw him lean in closer, then pull away. She was surprised at how much regret and bitter disappointment she felt because of that. She hurried to get next to him again. "David..." she said softly.

"David," Kali repeated, slightly louder. She knew he heard her. She stepped in front of him, placing her hands on his chest to prevent him from walking further. Some impulsive urge coursed through her, impossible to resist, and she leaned forward, brushing her lips agains his.

Her eyes widened in surprise, and she stumbled backwards, blushing furiously.

Kali breathed in his scent deeply, not resisting. He had the faintest hint of smoke clinging to him, tempered by the exotic aroma of pine and other plants of the forest.

Zane looked at Shai, surprise and alarm written on his face. Has she gone... he hesitantly made a circling motion around his head, as his copper eyes asked the question.

Zane tilted his head to make it easier, grinning as they touched.

Kali suddenly felt self-conscious. Though she hated for it to end, she pulled her head away gently. It was rare for a Special to blush, but her already cheeks flushed deeper. She left her arms around him, his heart thudding against her racing one.

Kali stared at the ground, but found her ebony eyes slowly trailing back up to gaze at his face. "Um," she mumbled, feeling awkward but exhilirated at the same time.

Ooc:// It would be amuding to see David's parents reaction. o.o But I really haven't got an idea about that.



Kali nodded, avoiding his gaze. She didn't pull away completely, and remained somewhat in his arms.

"Loverboy? Shai? You're dragging out an awkward moment," Kali pointed out, ebony eyes glinting.

Zane pulled away reluctantly, keeping his hand entirtwined with Shai's.

Kali felt awkward and conflicted as she walked behind David, a blush lingering in her cheeks.
