Shay would've smacked her forehead, but that would've created more noise, which would be pointless. Besides, her arms were aching from exhaustion. Though she could clearly hear Zane's giggling, she was out like a light in a matter of seconds.

Shay's blue eyes opened, and immediatly shut close again. The sun was shining directly into her eye, and having just woke up, it seemed especially painful. Grumbling something incoherent, she sat up, squinting. Her dark locks shifted, blocking the sun somewhat.
She peered at her two companions. Zane was still sleeping, though he was sure to wake up soon. She smiled at the sight of his eyeliner streaked face, which appeared a lot younger now that he was asleep. Viktor was rolling over, seemingly unable to fall back asleep.
"Morning, Viktor," Shay greeted softly, stifling a yawn.

Shay noticed his grumpiness, and for some reason, thought it would be fun to tease him further. Eyes glinting with amusement she eyed his messy hair. "You do know you have a serious bed-head, right?" It looked like two cats had slept on his head, had a fight, then allowed birds to nest in it. The few twigs and leaves caught in the locks only added to the appearance.

"Well, we're beginning the search for civilization today. Wake Zane up and we'll start walking," Shay said, smiling. She could tell Viktor liked coffee, and knew that he hadn't had some recently. A Starbucks didn't sound so bad to her either.
