Rainstorm kept her face expressionless, her amber eyes remaining cool, face impassive despite the turbulent emotions inside of her.

"Rainstorm, you could be a leader." Tigerstar urged.

"I don't want to be a leader. I'm perfectly happy with being a warrior," Rainstorm replied immediatly.

"But Rainstorm, think of what he could help us do!" Silverclaw almost echoed Tigerstar's words.

Rainstorm immediatlly bristled with anger, an ever growing fault of her's. "I don't care! I know what he did when he was alive! I don't care what power he could give me! The end result wouldn't be something I believe is right."

"But Rainstorm-"

"Don't even try to convince me, Silverclaw," Rainstorm said, amber eyes turning cold and hard. "I know what I want to be in life. Not a leader, ecspecially not with his help. I want to stay a warrior, fighting for my clan." Anger still coursed through her, but it was somewhat tamer now in her words. She was breathing hard, as if she had just been in a fight, all due to the anger she was helpless to stop. "I'll never accept anything from a traitor and a murderer. I would suggest you do the same, Silverclaw." If anything, her words had grown colder, icicles practically forming in the air the sentence left behind.

Silverclaw gazed with amber eyes at Rainstorm. "You sound just like Firestar." she spat.

"You say that like it's a bad thing," Rainstorm countered, with equal venom.

"There are better cats to be like."

"Like who? Tigerstar? The cat who murdered and betrayed others? I would rather eat crowfood than be like him. And I'm sure alot of other cats would say the same thing!" Rainstorm said.

"Then your a fool. Like every RiverClan cat. The only cat worth of RiverClan was Hawkfrost!"

"And he ended up exactly like him." The word him was followed by a glare directed at Tigerstar, and was spoken with so much hate it even surprised herself. "A lying, scheming traitor who wished for nothing but to have his own mousebrained way!"

Silverclaw let out a hiss of pure fury and leaped onto Rainstorm, clawing her flank.

Rainstorm's anger once again flared to life, this time brighter and stronger, more of rage now. Letting out a yowl, her claws swung out, directed at Silverclaw's face. She ignored the pain in her flank, and the warm liquid dripping from it.
