He smiled, the stopped and looked across some barrren land as they reached the end of the forest. He pointed out a smudge of green in the distance. 'That is where we are heading," he said.

"You tired?" he asked. They had been traveling most of the day, adn he wouldn't mind a rest eiither. "We could rest a bit, then head back off tomorrow. It'll take a couple of days to get there anyway."

"Ok then, lets rest a bit, head off tomorrow," he said, searching for a good shelter. HE spotted a fairly large hollow in the bottom of a tree, big enough for the two of them, and someone else who was small. Even though there wasn't anyone else but them. "Here's good," Tristan said, pointing to it. He walked toward it, stopping by the entrance to wait for Kat.

Tristan layed down beside her, her warm body curling up neatly next to his. He nuzzled her softly before falling asleep.

Cori woke up, sunlight streaming through the den. "Morning Julian," she said, nudging him awake. She still felt a bit sad that Kat had left, but the sadness wasn't as fresh and immediate as before. Sleeping had helped alot. She hadn't even realized she had cared that much about her sister, but that just made it worse. It made her feel as if she had failed as a sister or something.

Cori looked at the small silver wolf. "I know," she said softly. She licked Julian back, and snuggled deeper into him, suddenly wanting this day to end,even though it had just started.
