Suki kept her nose to the ground and walked a few steps toward where the smell was freshest. "That way, I think," she said, nodding toward a nearby bush.
"But I am hiding it from him," Jess said. "So he'd be right."

Suki nodded and quietly crawled along the ground. She pounced on the bush, not noticing it was a thorn bush. She yelped as she jumped back out of the bush, whimpering as she laid on the ground. A small brown mouse scurried out of the bush. "Stupid rodent," Suki muttered.
"That's not neccissarily a bad thing, is it?" Jess asked.

Suki sat up with a yelp, standing a few feet behind Titan. "I was only trying to catch some food!" she complained.
Jess sighed. "What about in this situation. Is it good or bad?"

"Mom, that might not of been the best choice of words." said Luke. He was right, the skunk thought she meant she saw IT as food and turned its hind end at her and sprayed her right between the eyes. Luke covered his nose. "Peeyew! Momma, I think he thought you meant you wanted to catch him for food."
Titan, though he was in front of her, was not between her and the skunk, put his paw over his nose. "Come on Suki, lets get you deskunked." he coughed.

Suki groaned, trying and failing to whipe off some of the musk with her paws. "That stupid mouse," she complaied.

"You mean this mouse?" asked Luke, carrying the now dead mouse in his mouth. "I know what I'm doing."
"Come on Suki, lets get that awful smell off you." said Titan. "We've still got tomatoes."
"Bad." said Sara.
Jarret sniffed the air and grimioused, putting his paw over his nose. "PU! Ugh, please tell me I'm not smelling what I think I am!" he said, the wind blowing the fresh skunk smell to them.

Luke wagged his little tail but made sure to be upwind from Suki and the skunk stench. He swollowed the mouse. "Yummy!"
"What is it? I don't smell anything." said Sara. "I have a very bad sense of smell after being in that sewer for so long."

"Oh, yeah," Suki said. "It should be around here." She headed off in the direction of the tomatoes from memery, since she didn't want to try to sniff them out again.
"If he did, we'll hear it," Jess said with a smile.
Rust was up wind of them, so he couldn't smell the skunk musk.
