DT: So does that mean you had dragon characters that were like Toby and Luna? (Maybe even Pete?) :)

To an extent. I've been advised not to give out too many advance details about the books, but I'll say that the characters are somewhat different, owing to the needs of the stories in question. But their roles and personalities were more or less the same. I think the characters who changed the least from their book counterparts were Toby's parents, but that's all I should say.

Pete: Yeah, we're working on that.
Trixie: He still has a few bugs to work out. Luckily, I'm the patient type.

Now Yet again, Arc here has a question for Pete. As I do somewhat recall, and as well if I remember properly Judge Toby's remark, about Pete wanting to take what's his name. I say that jokingly. To improve his gang, as he proudly insulted at the time.

Pete you where in a gang, yes? One of your own that, I'd even say, didn't go far...did you and you gang, get involved with other gangs? Well that isn't much of a question I want to ask the one I need to ask, "Do you still have unsolved gang affiliation?" This starts to worry me, so I'm asking you if it is, because if you were I'm assuming that you are no longer a part of any, because you are settling down. If knots are loosened with gangs if any you were apart of, it can cause trouble.

Another note to DT or the other characters I have issues with, the last going you guys had, still left me with the questions I had before unsolved. To me Terry's flaws are still there, she is oblivious parent still, selfish as ever, she still neglected Pete as a mother. Although she did help Pete a lil' and her greiving of Pete father. How do I say this grew increasingly suspicious, of Pete older remarks, of how she completely forgot about Yuke and went straight to Rex, this last part planted a seed and it is indeed growing on a hunch that is in fact true, by how she behaved. Remember this note she is my favorite female character here by long shot. She has far more pros or strengths then here weaknesses, have to get this out here, or some person might think this is a flame.

Rex seemed better in this one, scared me too, would you ever consider doing The Shining? As Jack Torrance? Because you could play that well, and have me screaming behind a locked door. With seriousness here, with your interactions with Pete, were different, but I can't judge you yet, but if you expect Pete to like you now, would only prove that Pete's opinion of you was right, a few weeks back. You only somewhat acted like that, so we all can't be too sure yet...So you good so far...

Judge Toby, congrats you have some more respect from me now, but as so, as so, Judge Toby, you still act self righteously anything you say or do is justified. Still obvious your Rex's favorite, bends a few things for ya. Glad you still had some nerve to find some things out for yourself, about Pete, situation, after his lil mishap. Unlike his mother, who didn't care that much, to find out for herself. Basically tricked her to finding out, which was really funny, hats off, or rather ears up? But also sad, how she didn't visit to find out herself, uncaring in my opinion.

Now I do actually have a question for Barbie (Luna), "Where your thoughts when you heard Pete had his 'mishap' at home?" Besides that he had it coming? Or about time, and finally. (Sorry just watched like 10 Scrubs episodes in a row xD) Barbie was just for fun, don't take it as an insult, knowing you, you do like barbies, most likely to chew them. Because as Judge Toby will proudly state you are one tough lil girl...wait a minute traditionally barbie is meant to portray beauty, but I think Terry prettier then you, despite being older...why did I call you that in the first place? I don't care anymore, what were your thoughts on the subject?

I don't really think I have ever really asked Rex a question to Rex, so here would be my first question to him, that is about him, "Would you ever leave Nome to help another town? That is if that town is having a dog gang problem and causing a lot of trouble and pain would you leave to help? Despite the danger would put yourself in? After you finish you'd return home of course, if things went well."

At the time I didn'tknow what to think. But after I'd done it, man! it felt totally awesome. It was kinda like what DT told me about roller coasters; you don't know what to think when you're on it, but when you get off the first thought you have is, "I want to do that again!"

Terry: I admit that I had some shortcomings, but I can say in clear conscience that the only place where I didn't do the best I knew how was telling Pete to talk to his siblings for me. That, I admit, was wrong.
Pete: Aw, Mom, I can dish out a little bad news. Don't act like I'm still a puppy.

Rex: I have no idea what The Shining is, but Peter and I are getting along much better. Thereason for this, although I've had to change much, is that despite a firm adherence to the law, I still fundamentally hold to mercy. In other words, while I do my best to establish justice in whatever form neccessary, I believe that everyone should have a chance to demonstrate whether he or she has really changed. And if anyone has ever proven that change is possible. he has.

Toby: Well first of all, give Dad a little credit. He can't exactly forget several years of crime overnight, so any connection between him and Pete is going to take some time.
Pete: Besides, he did let me off the hook for breaking that, uh...
Toby: Restraining order.
Pete: Yeah, that's it.

Terry: You wouldn't say that if you knew what it's like. To have two loved ones die, one of whom is still buried in your own backyard, and to feel both times that you're somehow responsible? It almost killed me the first time, and I... I was afraid to face it again.
Toby: Yeah. It was easier for me, I think, because for me it was the first time. And unlike Mom, I've always been an investigator. So even if I hurt, there was some part of me that just... had to find out, I guess.

Luna: I was upset, to be honest. I don't like to see anyone die, not after all my family went through and how much I went through. Death is no joke, even if it happens to someone who's given you nothing but trouble your whole life. So no, I didn't think he had it coming, especially when Toby told me how Pete had gotten so knocked around. Besides, he saved Toby's life once. How could I not be willing to give him a chance?
Dragon Tamer: On a historical note, I don't know if Barbies even existed yet.

1. Well that was faster then thought. Pete I'm glad to here you won't have any issues other than yourself.

2. Terry that isn't even the point, I'll remind you, don't change the subject please. The short coming you still have is you heart and Rex. Your disregard towards Pete's feelings, and disgraceful acts afterword. Then exposed to this you opened up like a book, "I don't have the heart." Don't have the heart to do what is right, for your loved ones at least that are need of help. Only if it is easy to solve is when you're useful at it. I would just thing Pete asking for help for girls is a question for his father to answer, and him not being there thought would hit a softer spot. It really felt you were about to say to Pete go to Rex, his step-father, that's about only thing could have done worse. You couldn't do much anyway, can't criticize you that much.

Pete thanks for your thoughts but rather pointless, as some efforts you did before.

5. Rex I said you were good, you don't need to lecture people on what everyone knows, maybe Pete needed to hear it, but the rest of us didn't. Wasted breath, you're good, what do not understand about that. The only thing not good about you, is how you treat law and life, but your position I guess is a proper excuse for that.

4. Terry mind me for my words, but I do believe you forget who you are talking to. You think I am fool? An idiot? I talk of things I do not know, I haven't had life as happy as yours, I've had three dearest blood in the ground now, and another that it will be a miracle if it lives to the age of 5. Guess to your status your nephew gets born and most likely will die before it is even 12 weeks old. This is excluding close friends who are no longer with me. I'm heavily offended at your remark. It has just been my own experience that I did face it, what you call head on. I had to know for myself although I already knew, so did the rest of those I knew. The only other person in my family that said "Didn't want to face it again" lies to doctors get medication and attention. Excuse me, for believing you were strong at heart and not an attention wanting parent, when it comes to things like that. I can't bare it, oh *cries* please. I've had enough of that in my own life. I do visit and have a relationship with that member of my family rather close, something you don't seem to have unless it is given to you on a silver platter. Pardon my choice of words, but that is how you are.

Judge Toby the first and 2nd, 3rd is just as hard as the 1st.

5. Luna....convincing. Sure you didn't. *chuckles* I bet you know what is like to be knocked around Luna, aint that right Judge Toby, you and crates don't go together. Back to Luna how could you not give him a 2nd chance, well before this you thought he had no shot at love, and it was great joke, didn't give him, no 2nd chance til he went to Judge Toby, then somehow he could find love now that he has gone to Judge Toby, so that how I figure it coming from you.

DT...It wasn't I thought they were....hmmm Well I don't know everything about Barbie, just that they are pretty much oldest toy in history, that has remained popular, I thought they were made in the 20s, I might be thinking of somethin' else,

6. Rex there is a saying I heard, the moment you admit you're old is moment you want to become useless. Not that you shouldn't when you really do crazy things, but how you handle yourself and old dog can easily out do 10 young dogs, if properly done, like the saying you most likely know, come on dog, you're never too old to learn a new trick.

Example that is offtopic Clint Eastwood, he is an older fella, but has most successful domestic movie of his life at past 80 years old! 110 million, pervious 102 million, 15 years to you. I've seen some 70 and 80 year old people that can still beat the living day lights out of 20-30 year olds, not because they are stronger or faster, but how conduct themselves. Don't put yourself down.

It just seemed unlikely that Barbies would have been around at the time (or at least if they were, that they would have reached Nome by that particular point in history). Let the record show I have never professed to be an expert in the history of toys, especially Barbie dolls.

I may be a police dog, and I may have done my bit of work in my day. But nobody can go on forever, and I don't really want to try it. I've been given a certain number of years on this earth, and a certain number of things to do in that time. I'm content with whatever numbers those may be.

Rex: It's more than my position. It's as true for anyone else as it is for me that bending the rules one time only leads to another, and another, and another. My father told me once when I was a puppy...
Toby: You were a puppy once?
Rex: [playfully glares at Toby before resuming his quote] My father told me, "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."

Terry:It's different to lose your son, especially in a case like that. I didn't mean to offend you, but... well, that's how I grieve.
Toby: As for your other remark, I'm going to be honest: I don't know. I was just making the best guess I could. Anyway, there was still something in me that had to find out.

Toby: Oh, am I ever going to live down the crate incident?
Luna: Let me ask you something, Arc. If I offered you, say, a bone, what would you have to do in order to get the bone?

Dragon Tamer: Or I could be wrong. It just seemed unlikely that Barbies would have been around at the time (or at least if they were, that they would have reached Nome by that particular point in history). Let the record show I have never professed to be an expert in the history of toys, especially Barbie dolls.

Rex: Well, it's nice to hear an encouraging word. But as I said, I'd do whatever I could if duty called. It's not foolishness, however, to know one's limits. I may be a police dog, and I may have done my bit of work in my day. But nobody can go on forever, and I don't really want to try it. I've been given a certain number of years on this earth, and a certain number of things to do in that time. I'm content with whatever numbers those may be.

1. Judge Toby, I would not give a penny for that thought.

2. Terry I'm referring it as a whole, not just any single piece. "how likely would he be to listen to me?" That is exactly why you don't deserve to be called mother.

Pete yes it did work, one of the few things that did, I was actually referring to your many other short comings.

3. Rex well put, but the soul fact your a police dog, the chief...Every dog will always hide something from you. Don't reply unless you think hard about that line.

Judge Toby, fascinating.

4. I don't know what it like to lose a son, I admit I don't if I did that would be scary. But how you grieve is very different from what I'm accustomed to. In my own life the only ones who grieve like you always want attention. That is why I'm against it, one of biggest flaws as a parent and dog, is how you grieve. Is honestly a large source of problems in your life, your grieving 'how to' caused Pete to act the way did, throw Yuke in wind, to cover you just simply visited his grave everyday. I thought you could find out for yourself because I thought with a honest heart you visited Yuke's everyday, why would Pete's be any different? But then you grieve differently, you don't have the heart to do much now do ya? Excuse me.

Judge Toby...jolly.

5. Judge Toby no, I will hold this up to you, until Pete beats in race when you did 200% effort in trying to win, until that day, I will haunt you with it forever mahahahahh.

Susan(Luna) Forgive me, but I'm a bit odd, if you offered me a bone, I would say thank you and 'what for?' Then if you wanted me to do something for it, I'd say 'no thanks' its a doggie dog, dog world, I like to get things done myself. So at hearing I have to do something, I'd turn you down, and get my own bone. UNLESS it was an offer for me going to chase some sticks by moon-light, with you. Then...YES. I would have to see the look of Judge Toby's face. So the point I'm trying to get across here, I would pretty much do nothing for me accept the bone you offered me, if it had work, no! Do it myself.

6. Well I'll just say this anyone who knows a lot about Barbie, and is a dude has issues. lol

7. Rex...joy.

1. Judge Toby, Judge Toby, Judge Toby. Ok..don't like would you prefer Judge Judy? I call you Judge Toby, because it is nickname that describes you. You once called Pete jerk. So I call you Judge. Simply because you act self-righteously, anything you can, and do, is justified with undoubted reason, you believe you are not wrong unless told by mommy, daddy, or lover. If any of those three did not tell you did something wrong you would defend to the grave that what you did was right. You most likely get that from your mother, defending falsehoods to the grave. now Judge Toby, that is all.

2. Well obviously you didn't even think twice about that statement Rex, like looking at a painting, what is the painting? Its made of oil.-Rex. You fail to see the painting, you fail at understanding the statement, everyone will hide something from you. That's all I will say. Case dismissed, bang the hammer Judge Toby.

3.Terry for me I don't know I guess I'd start with something didn't show at all during Pete's torment, compassion and love. If you did, you showed as much love as the French do to the Kaiser of Germany, I guess what I'm trying to get across you love and compassion for Pete during his break off, was so tiny. It looked like you hated him, and thousand times I could have bleed to testify that you wanted to say 'I wish Pete wasn't my son', 'I'm sorrowful he is my son.' Which you have already said in our lil' interviews. "What is there to be proud of?" Are your words if I recall, the fact him being your son was so shameful as if someone asked whom is Pete's parents would state you don't know because of how he was. I still would show love and compassion even to my own family that clearly don't deserve it. I still give them that, something you didn't do.

Another thing I would have done is stay persistent on trying to talk to Pete, you most likely tried I guess for a month, before, "I have to chase him down an alley" as I recall, to talk to him. Don't be stupid, this doesn't mean always running up to talk to him. They're other ways to getting some people to talk. During when Pete has his pathetic lil' gang, and they were talking if you found him, which I don't think you did because by that time, I don't have the heart came in, and you gave up your son, until he had to try to become your son again, he had to open your welcome wagon pitifully. Getting back on track, to find out were his gang hang out spot and approach him then, he isn't most likely going to be running away from his mother in front of his gang now is he? Pure embarrassment, you would embarrass him by going up to him and wanting to talk. Judging by his weak gang, they wouldn't hurt you Terry and would most likely tell Pete to talk to you so you would go away. At least you can talk for a minute or two. They're countless ways you two, could have communicated, despite Pete hating you because you left his father not in wind, but in the ground. Before running romantically in the comfort of Rex, a moment later after Yuke's grave post was set in the dirt. After Yuke's death you only lacked to say, 'I'm single again baby, YEAH!' Symbolically speaking.

Another thing for me I would not give up on my son! I would say he is a lost cause at the moment, but that won't be forever, I'd be the first to tell people that. Not the first to shout 'he is horrid son, he is so rude and mean, I don't have the hear to be his mother anymore.' I would not do that. "There is always hope." I believe that, something, you obviously don't. Pete could have turned around long ago if you actually cared about he felt, rather then yourself. Don't tell me that is lie, clearly shown Rex had some concern about Pete and you two being together. Then you said some words that prove my point, you disregarded his feelings entirely, without a 2nd thought-instantly! You can go, I don't know Pete. I do know a true mother would have tried at least once to help her son with the transition, unlike you. You went happily ever after at Pete's expense, any close look on when someone gets a step parent is emotionally powerful. But you took no regard to that, as long as you got what you wanted, nothing else mattered. That isn't the way I do things, I would try 1000% my best to try get Pete to understand that you(I) not leaving Yuke, but for some reason you wanted it to look like that. As well as trying to explain Yuke might have wanted this if he ever passed away, but no you didn't care, no love Pete enough to EVEN try that. You can sya you partly did when Pete's anguish was enough for him to confront you about it, some exchange of words. Something you don't understand it is hard to express yourself that way vocally, trying to stop a change you don't understand, to someone who you thought could trust with everything and they seem to becoming someone they're not. You didn't care, I would have. I honestly don't understand why you don't feel guilt over any of this, but telling his siblings his father was dead. That's like a warm breeze compared to his mother loving someone else whom he doesn't know, and when confronted you about his feelings you threw them to wind. I don't understand why, why? Until Pete stopped calling you 'mother' that was it, you're not one. Figured it out.

Another thing, I would try to find my faults, that Pete sees, rather then saying I don't have any. You never gave a thought, on what you did wrong, expect telling siblings daddy is dead. That is only thing you'll admit and have admitted wrong, you never thought about anything else you did wrong. You seem to think you're flawless here. In order to stand from a fall you need to understand how you fell in the first place. But no, you didn't bother. I would have bothered to think about what I did wrong, not just what Pete did wrong, that is easy to find Terry. When you hurt someone's feelings you have to find out for yourself what you did wrong in order to apologize. You didn't you just said 'sorry for me being perfect act better now', right to Pete's face, symbolically speaking. You just pointed a paw at Pete, and not one at yourself. I would find out what I did wrong so I would know somewhat how to apologize for the wrongs I've done. You didn't do at least one of these things...Terry, this is why, you should have said something like this to me already, let alone tried any of these things once. You don't love Pete enough, however if this somehow happened to Toby, you would have done what I mention here ten times over, geeze.

My words, my thoughts, excuse me.

4. That is my point Judge Toby, it is impossible
Luna...honestly what the heck? That was random, really random, you bought up your kids well...I don't know why you said that lol. Don't doubt it, just be sure that they aren't near, or playing near crates when Judge Toby is near by.

5. Someones saying something, oh Susan, I don't speak freakie deakie female, I need someone to translate you...because I have no idea what point your trying to get across here. Judge Toby translate and justify these words for me, for all I know she tried to point out the snow is white.

6. Indeed.

7. I wouldn't give a penny for my thoughts, so it is somewhat good Rex, somewhat bad.

Dragon Tamer: Et tu? You seem to insist you're right about everything, even when any fool can see that you're being totally unreasonable. Take your treatment of Terry, for example, concerning her marriage to Rex. There's no falsehood at all. She mourned, she got over it, she remarried. Show me one ounce of illegitimacy in that, or this will be the last post of yours I answer and you will be reported to the mods for spamming. I have had enough.

Terry: Besides, he didn't start spending time with that gang until some time after Yukon died and I married Rex. The plain fact was, he refused to communicate. It's like a letter: it's no good if the person getting it won't open the envelope.
Toby: And lastly, if you ever read "The Beginning," then read it again.
Quote:
Terry looked at the ground and shook her head. “It sounds wonderful,” she sighed, “but I don’t know if it would be right.”
Now Rex was confused. “Why?”
“Because Pete’s been saying… that I’m forgetting about Yuke.” Her voice was low, and sad as a funeral. “And I’m beginning to think he’s right.”
“I thought Yuke was dead,” Rex replied.
“He is…” Terry admitted. “But inside me, in my heart I mean, he’s still there.”
Rex hung his head, ashamed at having not only reopened an old wound but then having put salt into it as well by pressing the matter. “I understand. And I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything.”
“No, I… I’m glad you did. It’s better that I know.” Terry turned. “I think I’d better go now,” she said quietly. As she left the room, a single tear fell from her eye and landed with an inaudible splash on the floor. It wouldn’t be the last. Not by a long shot.

Toby: Show me the "Yahoo, I'm single again" in that, jerk.

Granted, it was harder for some of us than others, but we all gave him a chance. It's. That. Simple.
