Felix nodded, respect lighting up on his face as he looked at Alex, "My lady knight, it's an honor to meet you." he said and bowed, she smiled in response.

Alex smiled and bowed back, she looked at the door that the prince had disappeared to and put a hand on her sword.

David grabbed his sword and got to his feet, swinging it at Robin but missing. He was in way to much pain to actually think straight. Robin punched him in his side, kicking his sword out of his hand and pushing a dagger into his other shoulder. David screamed out again and fell to the floor, gripping his shoulder. "Why?" David asked, Robin kicking his sword out of reach. Robing stood over him and forced an evil smile, "Your the worst thing to ever happen to me." He said. David was so confused. "What!?" He asked, when he blinked Robin was gone. But all the cuts and lashes still remained. "Mother!" David yelled out, hair over his eyes.

Felix flicked his gaze to the door, he hear David yell and he drew his sword, hearing the distress in his voice, he made his way towards the door.

Alex drew her sword, following close behind.

David attempted to stand but hidden in the trees, Robin shot an arrow into his leg. David flopped back down onto the gronud, crawling towards the door. His messanger hawk kept screeched and walking slowly next to him. As if trying to let him know he wasn't alone. David called out again for someone to come to his aid, hawk screeching over and over again.

Both Felix and Alex burs through the door, Felix went to his son immediately while Alex brandished her sword, looking out the window for the intruder and keeping an eye on the father and son, defending them.

David looked up at his father, blood puddles covered the floor beneath him and some around him. The hawk turned his head and looked at Felix, curious. David tried to lean forward. "Dad, I don't know who that was." He said, arrow still jetting out of his leg. Thankfully it hadn't touched bone or anything like that, but it still hurt badly. Almost pushing David to tears.

Felix knelt by his son, "I have an idea of who it was. Here, let me help you there." he said, helping his son sit up and taking hold of the arrow while David was still slightly shocked and tugged it out of his leg, knowing it would hurt but it was best to get it out sooner than later.

David winced as his father helped him up. The hawk walked over and crawled on his shoulder again. When he felt tension on the arrow David was about to tell his father no but just in that instant, it was jerked from his leg. David yelled out, his mother rushing outside next to him. "How did this happen?" Anna asked, looking her son over.

"I do believe it was an old friend of ours." Felix said through gritted teeth.

Alex moved over to them when certain nothing was going to ambush them. She ran an eye over David and simple shrugged, 'I've seen worse.' she thought.

David winced, cuts and lashes stinging madly as his father pulled him upward into a sitting position. Suddenly there was tension on one end of the arrow, "Uh dad-" He managed to breath out before his father painfully had snatched the arrow out of his leg. "Ow! Mercy!" David yelled out, gripping his leg. Anna ran out with she heard her son yelling, she knelt beside him, worried sick about him. "What happened!? David honey are you okay?" She asked, putting a hand on his cheek. David nodded, "I was attacked and I'm somewhat okay." He managed to say, still wincing as he kept himself up. Using his stomach and back muscles to keep him up. Arms in way to much pain to do him any support.

Felix ripped a section off his shirt and started to wrap his arms where they were bleeding.

Alex gazed out the window, letting them have their peace.

Anna looked at the arrow, lifting it up off the ground. She recognized the feathering on the end. Robin's. She had recognized it from when he had arrowed her brother to death years ago. Anna looked around the shadows, standing slowly and dropping the arrow gently on the ground. She was angry.

Felix sighed and finished, "That's all I can do." he said.

Alex looked out the window again, scanning the trees.

Anna looked around and then at her husband. "I think we should get him inside." She said. David agreed quick, not wanting to spend another second outside. David rose to his good leg, aching and burning sensations all over his body. When he looked as though he'd fall over, Anna came up under his arm. Trying not to touch his arm.

Felix nodded, "yeah, can you manage it son?" he asked.
