“Oh well…Whatever, no changing what I’ve done…” Kat grunted, but she felt ashamed of herself.

"You could change now?" Alfred offered with a hopeful smile.
"Yeah, stop smoking, quit your..hooker job." Arthur agreed.

“I guess..” But she’d always have the shameful memories, the label of what she’d done. Kat ran a hand through her hair and took in a clean breath.

Arthur and Alfred sighed in unision. In all honesty, Arthur missed the old Kat, he wanted her back, not this...freak.

Kat tossed her head back, then stood "I'm gonna' go take a shower." She announced, walking upstairs to the guest bathroom and running the water. Kat stuck her hand out, under the running water, and undressed. She hopped in the steaming water and took a quick shower.

"Okay." Alfred replied, sitting down on the loveseat. (no pun intended) Arthur sat down beside him, leaning his head on Alfred's shoulder.

Kat returned, dressed in some old clothes she had left at his house so long ago. They were baggy on her now, but looked cute. An American shirt and baggy belbottoms slung across her waist. She walked into the living room and sat down on the floor, she was awfully hungry.
"So what have you two been up too? Hows school?" Kat asked.

"Arthur graduated," Alfred said proudly, and Arthur chuckled. "I'm graduating in a few weeks, so he's workin' at..where are you working?"
"A Book Store." Artuhr answered, sipping his fresh tea.
"Right, and i got a job at a music shop!"

"Cool, how about you're arent, Alfred, what have they been up too?" Kat asked further.

Alfred frowned, and looked at his hands.
"My dad...was in a wreck and he died, and my mom hasn't been seen since the wreck." He confessed. Arthur looked over and sighed, somewhat angry Kat had asked.

"Dude, I'm sorry. I didn't know." kat sad sadly. Although she had become numb for the most part, she still could relate to the pain she had gone through. SHe didn;t feel anymore though, which was a sad, but accurate tactic to defending her heart.

"Yeah dude but it's fine.." Alfred said, and Arthur wrapped a reassuring arm around him.

"That's rough.." Kat agreed, she itched the back of her neck in thought, still very numb.

"What about you? Anything new?" Alfred perked up, smiling once again.

"Eh, the last few months have kinda' been a blur. A lot of parties. Rachel and Henry stopped looking for me. But I turned 18 a few weeks ago, s i'm a legal adult." Kat said, swishing her hand dissmissivly. "And you two, you're still together I see. That's good. long relationships and all that sh*t." Kat said, actually happy for them.
