"Nate, why're you up so early?" Atticus asked.

Nate yawned "I woke up, and couldn't get back to sleep." he replied simply looking over his shoulder at them.

Nate whined like a puppy and tried to get away from her hand. "Don't mess up my hair." he said with a teasing manner.

"She has to work." Atticus replied.

At work Heather had set Nate up with a chocolate mocha and a brownie, she worked frantically, but finally had to take a break outside.

That spooky black van came rolling slowly up an Ally way, surprisingly not making a sound.

Nate sat at one of the tables, scribbling in his journal again.

Heather stood outside and sipped her coffee, she looked around timidly, wishing Atticus was with her. Heather yawned and checked her watch, she'd need to go in soon.

Nate noticed the van roll past the store then turn and start around the back. This aroused his curiosity, so Nate gathered his things and slipped out the front door, sneaking slowly around to the side of the building and peering around the corner.

Without giving Heather a chance to escape the van sped up and screeched to a halt infront of her. Then two men, one of them being Tommy, jumped out. Tammy grabbed Heather and covered her mouth with his hand, so she couldn't scream. "Nice to see you again, dear..." he cooed into her ear, with a tone like poisoned honey.
