Uzuri woke up a little later and saw her son asleep. "Kiburi?'' Uzuri said nudging her son gently to wake him up so he could go and play with his Uncle Paka.

Uzuri purred "Good morning my dear.'' "Paka go easy on him. Even though he is now a teen I don't want him to get hurt.'' Uzuri said.

Hisani was still sleeping with Undani since their time of dying was getting closer and Uzuri and Nguvu would take over their pride for them.

Hisani opened her eyes and yawned she then nudged Undani she then got up and stretched but flinched since her bones were getting old and she had to be careful.

Uzuri watched Kiburi up in a tree and nudged Paka towards to where he was hiding. Uzuri then went to Nguvu who was sleeping in and licked him on the face.

Hisani smiled ''Good morning.'' She said.

Uzuri then pinned Nguvu down and smiled down upon him "Got ya.'' She said playfully.

Uzuri purred and got off of him. "Hello father. How are you doing today?'' She asked while walking up to her father and nuzzled him then her mother.

Uzuri looked at her father. "Then you should go back to sleep.'' Uzuri said.

"Father are you sure you are ok?'' Asked a young drk brown lioness named Asili who was standing by Uzuri.

Hisani rubbed up against Undani and whispered in his ear. "Let's go for a walk?'' Hisani said in his ear quietly.

Uzuri shrugged and went outside the cave and watch her son Kiburi and her brother Paka play together.

Asili had gone hunting with Chache to bring back some breakfast Uzuri knew that they would be gone for a long time because of the dry weather which was causing the herds to move somewhere else.
