A murderous look came across Cody's face and said darkly "Yes this human is the human who was bitten."

Samantha hugged Fern and said "I'm sorry for your luck, Fern. I guess your going to have to stay with us for the rest of your unnaturally long life then. I am so sorry for your luck."

Johnathon looked at Samantha and said "You tell me to be nice but you're the one who's being outright with the bad news. Aren't you?"

Samantha looked at Johnathon and said "She has the right to know what is in store for her now. What is in store for all of us who is bitten but it is dangerous for Fern and Cody due to their strange relationship and what happened between the two."

Cody growled at Samantha and said while reaching out to hit her "Don't say anything about that ever again, Sam. I didn't mean to do that to anyone, especially not to Fern."

"What are you talking about?" Fern asked Samantha and Cody, not yet being told about their short but important past. "What happened between us."

Cody looked at Fern coldly and said "I imprinted on you and you would have the distinct urge to kill me if you hadn't imprinted upon me too. I say that because that is the only thing that could actually stop that lust to kill me. And the past part is that we are hunted by a fellow wolf who was my blood brother but I disowned him. He is psychotic and will kill any of us if he can. There are vampires out there too who have hunted us down to only about three packs. We are one of the three left standing and we are the weakest. I am sorry that I didn't warn you about that earlier."

Fern was rendered speachless at all this new information. "What exactly does that all that mean? Are we going to have vampires chasing after us all the time now?"

Cody shook his head and said "We made a truce with our neighborly vampire family in town and we don't fight because of it. We both mind our own businesses but we sometimes have other vampires in the area and they sometimes end up chasing us to the point that we have to fight and chase them off."

"That sounds dangerous," Fern admitted quietly.

Cody nodded and said "It is dangerous but we are a lot stronger than a pack of vampires. That's why they hunted us down with the help of the Fae. I hope you know who they are."

"Um, no, I don't," Fern admitted.

Cody looked at Fern and said "Bed time stories are full of them. Fairies, trolls, and all of the others. All of the other magical creatures are dubbed Fae except for us and the leeches."

"What makes us so specail?" Fern asked jokingly, trying to make the conversation light.

Cody chuckled lightly and said "We are stronger than they are."

"That makes me feel a little better about changing into a creature I know nothing about," Fern said with a smile.

Cody shook his head and said "If you are an alpha wolf then you will have to deal with bloodlust though. Alphas are the ones effected by it the most. If you are an omega then you won't even feel anything. So let's hope you are an omega so you don't hurt anyone you care about when they get hurt."

"What else should I know about werewolves?" Fern asked, curious about the creature she was turning into now.

Cody chuckled and said "We are fast and strong. We have good hearing and can since a lie being told to us. So don't try to lie to another wolf. I'll teach you everything you need to know too. The first few months are ruff though. So, hang in there with us for a couple months and you'll be happy that you did. I hope you find everything as interesting as I did when I was turned."
