Ooc:// Sorry I haven't been on! Concussion =P

Liam yipped and spun around, counting in his head up to ten, then his eyes lit up as he romped off to find Matt.

Madden looked up at Buck "Watch him for me?" He said before he stood up and chased after Surge, Laim, and Matt. "I GUNNA CATCH YOU CARIBOU!" He howled as he growled and used his nose to chase after the rest of the game.

Buck nodded then smiled as he watched the pups and the two adults playing.

'Hiding is boring.' Thought Matt as he jumped out of his hiding place and ran for it. "Catch me if you can wolf pack!" He shouted.

Liam howled with delight and ran after Matt, his four paws like uneven knitting needles. He chased and giggled the entire way until a shadow raced in front of him and jumped into the bushes. Liam stopped, the chill of terror lingering on his spine. His ears perked up, the small black puppy sniffed around and peered into the bush.

WHOOSH! The silhouette leapt over the puppy and bit him on the back of the neck and carried him away. Liam's bright eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the paws of a fox below him. Liam yipped and barked for help, but he didn't think he was loud enough. He struggled to get free, but the teeth of the fox only were drawn deeper into his skin.

Matt finally gave up and let Madden and Surge tackle him to the ground. Wait a minute, weren't there three wolves on the wolf pack team? Madden, Surge and..."Liam!" Matt shouted, looking around. There was no sign of the little mute puppy anywhere. "Where's Liam?" He asked Madden and Surge. "If we don't find him, it'll be our heads for sure!"

Liam gave up the struggle when the fox threw him into her den. He yipped and yowled for help, but he was too weak and puppyish for a real howl. The fox entered the den and struck him with her paw, making him topple backward. The fox examined him, wondering if he'd make a good meal. Suddenly, she grabbed the back of his neck with her fangs, stretching the skin, and Liam felt something in his throat open up and expand.

He howled.

And not like a puppy howl, but a wolf howl. A howl that the alpha of a pack could only do. A howl that a wolf would let out after a successful hunt. The little black pup howled, then screamed, "HELP!" Help? Did I just... talk? thought Liam, his floppy ears straight up in surprise. Then, he tried it again. "Someone help! A fox has me! It's me, Liam!" He couldn't believe it. He was actually talking, and now it would save his life.

Matt's ears perked up. "Liam?" He muttered as he ran towards the sound of the little pup's voice. 'Liam..Is talking?' He thought. He increased his speed and soon came to the fox's den. "Let the puppy go." He growled in a threatening kind of way. His hackles raised and his fur bristled as his lips curled back in a snarl.

The fox swerved around, her slim snout embedded with needle-like fangs. Her slim body slunk around, showing that she was ready to fight if he wanted to.

Liam stay huddled in the corner, whimpering and tears filling his eyes.

Surge's head flew up. He ran like he had when he was younger, he raced passed Matt and grabbed the Fox by her back, he picked her up and threw her to the side, his fangs showing and his hackles raised. "Matt, get Laim!" He barked as he lunged at the fox, pinning her down and not letting her up no matter what she did to him.

"LAIM!" Madden howled/yipped as he stayed were he was, afraid that if he went anywere he would just cause more trouble.

Matt quickly but gently picked Liam up by the scruff and ran out of the fox's den. Matt stopped running when they were back with Madden, Kayla and the unconcious puppy. He set Liam down gently. "There, you're safe now."

Liam coughed and replied, "Thanks, Matt." in a cute, puppyish voice. Then, he pricked his ears up. He was talking! He was really talking! "Watch this!" he barked. Then, he took in a deep breath and said all in one breath, "Supercalifredulisticeggspialladocious! I can talk I can talk!!!"

"Yes, I can see that." Said Matt with a slight chuckle. "Your mother and father will be very surprised, they thought you were going to be mute for life. Oh how wrong they were. Did something happen when the fox carried you off? Did something pop, crack or expand?"

Liam thought for a minute. "Well, when the fox bit the back of my neck, the skin in the front of my throat was stretched out and my voice tubes opened up! That's what it felt like, anyways."

ooc:Who is Naomi? Is she being played by some one else now?
Kayla nudged the unconsiouce little pup close to her and licked the top of his head with her warm tong. Then she nussled Liam the way his mother might. "Oh Liam your mother will be so happy for you and so will your father!" She imagined how madden must feal with Liam getting all of the atention and carfully stood leaving the pup on the ground by himself for a minut as she went to go play with Madden a bit.

The small pup was slightly consiouse, at least enough he could smell other wolves around him. Two boys, and one girl. He liked the way the girl smelled it helped to eas his throbing head. He tried to grown but his head was in so much pain he could not remember how. He was breathing a bit more now but did not quite have the strenghth to come to.

Ooc:// Should we skip to where the pups are all grown soon? Not now, but when they are older. And Storyseeker, whoever had Naomi I believe still has her, even though I don't quite remember who that is... XD
