"Wow. I guess were taking hunting lessons from a pup now," Suki teased.

"He could hate me," Jess said softly. "I don't want that. He;s the only family I have."

Luke nodded. "Come on!" he said. He ran ashore and waited for his momma.

"Energtic little pup, huh?" asked Titan.

"If he loves you, he won't hate you." said Sara. "Brother and sister is an unbreakable bond, even if he gets mad, he'll get over it."

"I don't know how much longer I can keep up with him," Suki joked before wading out of the water after Luke.

"But I don't want him made at me," Jess said. "He'll probably go back to town and then I'll go with you guys, and I'll never see him again."

Luke waited for Suki. "Follow me!" he yelled. He turned and started running but the danger prone pup stepped on a stick, causing it to swing up and hit his groin. He moaned and fell on his side, whimpering in agony. "That really hurt."

"Ow...that's gotta hurt." said Titan, cringing.

Sara sighed. "Well if that's how you feel, I won't force you to say anything to him but things won't change if you don't stand up for yourself."

"Luke!" Suki said with concern as she trotted up to him and licked his cheek. "Luke, are you alright?" she asked.

"I do stand up for myself," Jess said defensively. "But with Rust, you have to handle things a little... differently."

Luke whimpered, curling up in a ball. "A stick hit me in a really painful spot." he moaned, tail between his leg. "Why does that hurt so bad?"

Titan rubbed the back of his head. "Well...uh...that place is...well...it hurts really bad to make you remember not to get hit there." he said, having difficulty explaining that to a pup. "I'll tell you when you're older, all you need to know is it really hurts to get hit there."

"How do you handle it?" asked Sara.

"Yeah, Titan'll tell you when you're older," Suki said, giving Titan a teasing look. That would be a fun conversation for the doberman. Suki turned her attenion back to Luke. "It should stop hurting soon."

"Usually just by doing whatever he says," Jess admitted. "Its easier than fighting, considering he always wins."

"I've been hit there plenty of times, back in my old life." said Titan, in dog fights, there was no honor and it tended to get very dirty. When under the drugs, the pain didn't effect them as much but once the drugs wore off, they were certainly in a great deal of pain. Suki probably had suffered the same, females could be just as dirty as males in fights. "I know it hurts a lot and its normally a very improper thing to do but...if someone bigger than you is trying to pin you down and hurt you, its a descent way to get away." he said. "But unless its the only way, don't do it."

Luke nodded and stood up as the pain began to end but step right on the same stick and was hit in the groin again, he moaned and fell down again.

"Well he's still your brother." said Sara. "And if you care about Jarret the way I think you do, sooner or later you'll need to tell him about it."

"Oh, Luke," Suki said as she shook her head at the pup. "Maybe it would be better if I carried you."

"I think he's already figured it out," Jess admitted.

Luke moaned, putting his paws over his aching groin to prevent somehow recieving another painful hit. "Please momma." he groaned.

Titan nodded. "Youch, that's gotta hurt." he said, knowing being hit there twice in a row was bond to be agony.

"But does he know you like him back?" asked Sara.

Suki picked Luke up in her mouth. "Now, how do we hunt?" she asked the pup.

Jess paused. "I dunno. Probably not."

Luke groaned and waited for the pain to subside before speaking. "Sniff around, do you smell anything?" he asked.

"That's my point, if you do feel that way, Rust will need to hear that sooner or later, and better sooner than later." said Sara.

Suki set Luke down and sniffed around. "I smell a lot of stuff," she said.

"Later works for me," Jess said.

Suki concentrated and said, "I smell meat. I think it's a mouse."

"He's always mad at me anyways," Jess said. "It doens't matter what I do."
