The three wolves were greeted at the den by Kodi, who had managed to catch a small deer.
"I know it's not much." Kodi mumbled, 'but I think it'll be enough to feed all of us tonight."
"Great job Kodi!" Mike smiled. "It's perfect."

She smiled and went under cover where Helga was still crying, " Helga! What's wrong my dear?" She asked and nuzzled her.
She didn't speak, but a whisper, " It's just, I just Don'twant to become queen. It seems to boring." She walked away from her and ran to her den.

She replied to Mike and said, " Look, I told her that she was going to have to become the Alpha Female one day and she told me that she just doesn't want to. She said it would be to boring." She said looking away from his eyes.

Mike nuzzled her.
"Why'd you tell her so soon? We still have many years ahead of us, plus shes still young. she wouldn't appreciate the honor of that yet."
He sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry. I'm really stressed by all these happening lately. Let's just let the subject rest for a few days, then we can talk to her about it together."
Mike looked across the vast valley where thay had chosen as their home. The sun was setting gently across the purple sky of dusk.
"I'm gonna go to sleep. G'night Jamie."
He nuzzled and kissed his, then went to the cave and was soon fast asleep.

The next morning, Mike awoke gently and went to gaze over his valley? He was greeted with the place in ruins, with deer bones flung every which way. He stared in awe for a moment, then rose his head and gave an emergency howl.
