Aleu, Dingo, and Miki took off after their siblings. Aleu was as fast as Kodi due to being in the wild. "I finally caught up to you bro."

"But I have the advantage of home turf!" Kodi called back with a laugh in his voice. He turned left onto a brake road, catching Aleu off gaurd because they had only found the short cut after she had left.
"Cheater!" Saba called to Kodi, whom she was just behind now. She had been just far enough behind Aleu and Kodi to see her brother's quick change in direction and realize he was taking the shorter route.

Aleu tried to turn but slipped on ice and slid into several trashcans. One rolled and ended up dropping its contents in front of Kodi, including a skunk which was too close for Kodi to avoid.

Kodi tried to stop but crashed into the skunk before it could even spray. They both landed on a clean sheet of ice. The skunk rolled to the side, coming to a stop, dizzy and upset. Kodi continued down the ice until he tried to get up and jump on a box forzen to the ice. But it acted more like a ramp and Kodi ended up head first in a pile of snow.
Saba had followed Kodi through most of this, though lept of the ice when it come to an end. She turned around, looking for Kodi. She saw his hind end sticking out and began laughing.
Rose ran around and along the ice. She skated along the very end of it and came to Kodi's other side. She was giggling loudly. "Need some help, bro?" she asked between giggles.

Miki ran up. "You alright Kodi?" she asked, then watched the reasonably upset skunk trot up to Kodi, spray him in the face, kick some snow on him, and walk off. She covered her nose. "Eww." she groaned but couldn't help laughing at her brother.
Dingo covered his nose. "And they say my stink bombs smell bad." he said, chuckling, his stinkbombs had been compared to skunk spray but they really didn't smell as bad. "I guess that's what happens when you cheat."

Kodi groaned as he covered his nose. "It wasn't cheating," he said. "I was just using the homeground advantage."
"Lets just hope there's still some tomato juice left," Rose said, paw to her nose.

"Oh yeah," Rose said. "Then we better get going and clean Kodi off."
"Yeah, okay," Kodi said, running off in the direction of Balto's boat.
Saba and Rose followed after Kodi, but stayed a goos few feet away so they wouldn't have to smell the skunk musk all the way there.
