Obvious troll is obvious.

For me, it's a HUGE secret. I'm like obsessed with Balto, but i don't want to tell anyone because im afraid of how they'll judge me. It sucks though because I want to talk about the movie with my friends and family.

It's a big secret for me. I have mentioned that it's my favorite movie to a few friends but they haven't made fun of me at all, in fact all the friends I've told have said they like the movie too! Pretty good sign that the movie is still well known! But I'm sure by now they have all forgotten that I mentioned it. I haven't even told my parents about it.

For me I don't really tell anyone about my Balto fanship for 2 reasons

1. I don't see the point in mentioning it unless someone brings up a subject that relates to it.

2. Sometimes I can get a little worried that people will think I'm still childish. Heck last year there were kids in one of my classes that kept making fun of me just because of the clothes I wore! (High School can be such a pain!)

Why would i keep my liking to Balto a secrect? It's just a movie about a heroic wolf-dog...

For me, yes, it is a massive secret. Although I'm pretty sure my parents know, although I've never checked.

I'm worried about how my friends will judge me. (well...sometimes I can call them friends anyway...Sometimes I really wonder if I have any...)

Round here to fit in and be classed as "normal" you have to follow what everyone likes. Favourite sports, favourite video games.Etc. (IT'S STUPID I KNOW!) But I chose not to do that. I like what I like and nobody can change that. No matter how hard they try.

Their fave sport is football, mines NASCAR.

They play video games like call of duty, etc. I play NASCAR the game 2011.

Heck, I'm lucky if I even get to talk to 1 person without him/her taking the . So I don't want to tell anyone about my love for Balto in case it makes my situation worse.

Though it used to be a secret for me a few years ago, now everyone knows I like Balto and drawing dogs and stuff. It's been really great, actually!! My friends love my animations and drawings and always ask for more, and we all pretty much like animated movies, such as Balto. We always have sleepovers where all we do is watch Disney movies or others like them. (Im 16 just so you all know) If I didn't tell anyone this secret, I wouldn't be any closer to my friends than I do now! Thank you conscience!

Hey man i'm sorry about that, i know that segregation feeling; you think Balto's awesome but it's a movie for too young kids and not for an older person like you or i and therefore you keep it a secret to keep people from downsizing you, i really sorry about that. I'm your friend

I can relate to what a lot of you are saying. I'm not exactly shy about liking the movies; if I'm describing my stories to someone I'll often mention it, like, "Well, have you ever seen any of the Balto movies?" Usually they don't even know what it is, and most people who have seen them like them. Heck, if I had a Balto T-shirt I'd probably wear it (in fact, that gives me an idea). But I tend to look over my shoulder a lot when I look for pictures of it, as if someone's going to walk up and tease me about it, as silly as that sounds now that I'm writing it out.

That said, my interests in Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, and Land Before Time are definitely not something I spread around. I guess we all have our "guilty" pleasures.
