Kisasi was ripped out of his thoughts as Karani barreled into him. He totally underestimated her strength, and when she hit him, he flew backwards into the bush. "Ouch Karani, time out." He said as he crawled out of the bush. He was covered in thorns and there was one buried deep in his pad. Blood was starting to collect on his pad as he tried to pull the thorn out with his teeth. "Help me with these thorns will you?" He growled at Karani.

Kisasi looked up as he saw something run into Karani out of the corner of his eye. He saw her and the stranger roll out of sight behind another bush. "Karani!" He yelled. Forgetting about his injured paw, he ran over to where she had disappeared.

Kisasi exploded from the bush and saw the lioness advancing on Karani. He let out a fierce roar and barreled into the lioness's side, pinning her to the ground. "Who are you' Kisasi growled in the strange lioness's face.

Kisasi ignored the voice and as the lioness was distracted, he clawed her face. "Get.Off.Of.Me" He growled through clenched teeth. Not waiting for a reaction he flipped her off of him and ran over to Karani. "Are you okay?" He asked, ignoring the blood from the wound that the lioness gave him.

Kisasi growled threateningly at the lionesses, but didn't move. He turned and helped Karani stand up, letting her lean on his shoulder. "What do you two want?" He said, turning back to the strangers.

"We were play fighting!" Kisasi almost yelled. "Now we are both hurt due to your insane sister. I mean seriously! Who stops a fight by fighting?" Kisasi said with a look of disgust at the lioness named Mazatine.

Kisasi watched, bewildered as the sister's argued. What are they talking about? He wondered. He gazed up at the sky and saw with alarm that the sun was already going down. "We have to get home," he whispered in Karani's ear. "The sun is going down and Hatima is going to be worried if we don't get home soon."
