Kamaria sighed, she then knew it was night fall so she went back to the cave and fell asleep as she awoke she didn't realize were she was until a mytserious lioness came towards her.

"Well don't you think Faraji could train him?'' Adanna asked as she laid down by her mate.

"He could, but he's already got a lot on his paws right now, what with poachers approaching and Njozi trying to fight them everyday, and Hirizi right beside her, Endesha is the only one I can trust. And anyway, she was the first to spot him." Enzi explained.

Adanna sighed,"I hope you are right.''

Kamaria was scared and wondered who and what this mysterious lioness wanted,"Who are you and what do you want from me?''
(Can you be the mysterious lioness which is Sarabi?).

Enzi pushed his nose into his mate's short fur. "You'll see." he told her.

Sarabi looked down at Kamaria, her orange eyes glowing. "Relax, child." she said, her voice soft. "I bring news. And hope."

"What's your news?'' Asked Kamaria feeling a little calmer now.

Adanna smiled and fell asleep after nuzzling Enzi she then knew that her cubs would return from the hunting party and she would have to wake up little Ashante to see if he wants to eat.

"Don't despair for your brother." The spirit of Sarabi said. "All will turn out right in the end."

Enzi woke up to see his cubs in the den and the food pile fully packed. He smiled and got up, making his way over to Ashante. He slowly nudged him awake. Ashante opened his eyes and looked inquiringly at Enzi. "Hungry?" Enzi asked. "Not yet." Ashante answered. Enzi nodded, and let Ashante go back to sleep.

"What does that mean?'' Kamaria asked.

Furaha looked at the little cub feeling sadness wash over her from Ashante,The poor thing must be homesick. she thought. Ujasiri was sleeping close to Ashante he was treating him as if he was his little brother.

Adanna yawned and woke up she streched her muscles and walked outside the den to the waterhole.

Sarabi's spirit already was fading. "You'll understand someday." she said before she faded away and there was no trace of her at all.

Ashante snuggled closer to Ujasiri's body. He had never liked having an older brother, but he had never felt how it was like having a brother who was almost a year older than him. His body felt like his father's, which brought back sad memories again.

Enzi was outside the den organizing the day's patrols when he saw Adanna walk out. He ran over to her. "I checked up on Ashante first thing in the morning." he told her. "He doesn't seem to be hungry, just shocked. He's still recovering from that experience he had yesterday."

"Wait.... come back!'' "No.... I need to know your name.'' Kamaria said then she woke up panting and looked around the cave which was dimmed by the moonlight.

Ujasiri woke up and saw Ashante snuggled close to him he smiled and yawned silently so as not to disturb Ashante he got up and walked out of the cave and saw his father Enzi and his other brothers and sisters getting ready to go on a patrol or a hunting party.

Adanna smiled, "Just give him time, and you'll see he will eventually start to get use to us.'' she said then head for the water hole to drink.

"Patience." Sarabi said, her voice just a whisper among the rustling leaves.

Faraji turned his head to see Ujasiri pad up to them. "Good, you're here." he said. "You and Hirizi are coming hunting with me." "While we three lionesses check up on the Northern Border." Njozi put in.

Enzi looked at her. "I know he will." he sighed, padding after Adanna to drink his share from the water-hole.

(Can you put up a lioness for Jaali?)

Kamaria looked around and she soon got up and went outside to look at the stars,"I wish you were here father.'' She whispered she knew her father and mother were at the zoo sleeping.

Ujasiri nodded and watched as Njozi,Endesha,and Furaha left to go check on the northern border.

Adanna smiled at him then looked at him,"I was thinking of having more cubs if you want?'' She said blushing a little she wanted Ashante to be happy to have cubs to play with.

"This way." Faraji flicked his tail at Ujasiri. They were just about to leave when Ashante came bounding up. "Hey Guys!" he said cheerfully. "Can I come with you?" "Not today." Hirizi answered. "But maybe tomorrow we'll teach you some hunting moves."

"I think we have enough cubs already." Enzi had a gleam of laughter in his reddish-brown eyes. "Some of our other pride memebers are pregnant though."

Adanna sighed, she wanted a second litter of cubs' Maybe Enzi will understand if I tell him.' She thought.

Adanna saw Ashante, "Don't feel bad hun...'' "It'll be ok.'' She said and nuzzled him.

Kamaria sighed and went towards the water hole and she knew that there were lots of watering holes all around.

(I'm working on her design. And they do have a lot of cubs, don't you think?)

"I kind of feel bad for the kid." Hirizi said. Faraji nodded. "I do too, but if we take him along, who knows what'll become of him."

Ashante pressed his body against Adanna lovingly.

(Ok, I was thinking of some of them stillborn and some alive because after the fight with the pridelanders to help them protect their land one of the rogue lions churts her really bad causing her to lose one of her unborn cubs?)

Furaha looked at her sisters"Do you think Ashante will be ok?'' She asked Njozi the leader of the group.

Ujasiri chuckled, "He'll probably make a fool out of himself like most cubs do.''

Adanna smiled, and nudged Ashante playfully, she was starting to get a special bond with the bright orange cub.
