"Nothing, I just...don't want to meet your parents" I admitted, happy thst he was there for me.

Arthur laughed, making his body shudder.
"Hah, You're right, you dont." He said, shaking his head. "They'd crush you. Like they did me..."

I shivered agian "Sounds terrifying" I admitted. I looked at Arthur and studied him, he wasn't that bad of a guy, so why were they so gudgemental of him? My frown deepened and I rested my head on his forehead, never able to get close enough to him.
"Why would they hate you? You're sweet, you're charming, you're handsom, so why do they hate?" I asked, getting a little tired.

Arthur looked at his hands and shrugged.
"I-.." He smiled faintly at her. "I have three older brothers, Scotty, Angus and Ian. Ian and Scotty live in Scotland, and Angus in Ireland." He explained. "Ian is the oldest, but, ahh...the most messed up. Not mental just...odd.." He said, placing two of Riley's fingers on a small circle-ish scar on his neck. "Scotty and Angus were okay, but when i was born.." Arthur trailed off, letting out a shaky sigh.
"Everything i did was like Ian to them. I was the same height and weight, of course now Ian is taller, and we have the same eyes. So they hate me."

I wavered and bit my lip, what horrible people. God, I hated people so much, everyone! With the exception of Arthur and Alfred. I balled my free hand until my knuckles showed white and bit my tongue so hard it started to bleed. I winced at my own pain and swallowed some of my own blood, it was gross though.
"...Maybe I want to meet your parents, tell em' a thing or two about being nice. Hopfully not get slapped across the face, or verbally abused..." I said, trying not to open my mouth to much s Arthur wouldn't see the blood on my tongue. I sighed a littled heavier and tried to cocentrate on other things. But the sharp, mettalic, taste distracted me.

Arthur laughed, and kissed her.
"Well you'd much rather meet them than Ian himself.." He said, wiping some blood from the corner of Riley's mouth. He sighed, thinking of his tall, red-headed brother.
"Maybe..if you come back to England with me..." Arthur suggested.

"I...You'd let me do that?..." I asked, the idea of actually living with Arthur made me overjoyed. I didn't think I'd return with Arthur when he went back, I thought he wouldn't want me. But now that he suggested it, I felt wanted.

"Of course i would, why wouldn't I?" He asked, kissing her softly. Arthur broke off the kiss when more thoughts of Ian flooded into his mind, and he shuddered, remembering his older brother.

I felt him shudder and I rubbed his shoulders slowly, trying to calm him "I don't know...I just thought...You didn't really care if I was around or not..." I admitted, lacing my fingers with his.

Arthur shook his head slowly, and smiled faintly down at her.
"Of course i..do.." He said, trying to shake the thoughts of his brother out of his mind.

"Why is Ian so bad?" I asked, yawned hugelyand feeling my eye lids droop. I tried to force myself awake, but I was tired.

Arthur looked down at Riley, and smirked.
"Ahh.." He said, not really wanting to explain his older brother. "He's..uh, interesting..Thats for sure." Arthur stuttered, thinking hard.
"I can't really explain him. But, he visits at christmas every year..and he always ends up staying at my house, sadly, because my parents refuse to see him." Arthur huffed.

I frowned "I think you guys should make peace" I yawned, then slowly edged into sleep "I'm gonna'...Sleep now... G'night, I love you" I muttered, patting his head and retreating into his chest to sleep.

Arthur looked down at Riley again, and sighed as he began to fall asleep aswell.
"You haven't met him.." He murmured, falling asleep as well.

The following morning...

Arthur and Alfred were downstairs in the kitchen, and everything was quiet.
"GAH IGGY HOW DID YOU BURN THIS!? ITS TOAST!!" Alfred's voice boomed, and a loud crash hit the floor.
"It wasn't me you muppet! It's the da**..whatever you call it!" Arthur growled.

I woke up with a start, unsure of where I was, but very sure I'd just heard a yell. Horrible thoughts raced through my mind, my heart sunk. Had someone gotten hurt? Had someone broke in? Arthur wasn't next to me! I felt cold sweat sweep over my body and I shook frantically. The walls didn't make sence, I panted hard, memories and thoughts flooding slowly, processing where I was. It was thanksgiving, I was in Alfred's guest room, Arthur was down stairs...My hear calmed and I inhaled deeply. I sighed and walked downstairs, seeing a peice of burnt toast in Alfred's hand and a shattered something on the ground "Morning, I see Arthur attempted to cook" I teased, yawning and stretching.
