Steele's mother muzzled her sn, a smile on her face. "I know you will. You'll change, and your father and I can look down and smile, knowing our baby is okay." she said, licking his tears away.


"CongradTions, Steele." said Belladonna, changing back richer real form as the future changed. She looked at Pakak happily. "Our first mission was a success." she told him, giving the coyote a kiss.

"I'm so sorry mom...I really am..." said Steele to his mother, before turning to Belladonna and Sakak, seeing Belladonna's change. "Wait...what?" he asked, completely confused.

"It's rather simple," said Sakak. "We weren't really evil and trying to turn you bad, it was a secret test of character," he explained. "To make sure the lessions fully stuck, isn't that right, Anabelle?" he asked, looking up to her and Steele's spirit guide.

Steele looked at Anabelle. "Wait...you're the Arch Angel...why are you here?"

OOC: Perhaps since this was Christmas day, they rewind Steele's Life Watch to send him back to the morning and give him a second chance to set things right (he keeps his memories though, obviously). What do you think?

Anabelle smiled, coming down gracefully. "In all honesty, I knew you weren't bad, just a little fogged. So, this was one last chance, to see if you would change."

Steele's mother grinned. "Do you understand how amazing it is Anabelle was watching you, and wanted to help? It means that if you do right, she could bring you up to Heaven."

Belladonna smiled, taking a gorgeous gold abd silver watch from Anabelle's paw. "Yea, and I am so glad my first charge got it through his head. And I have to say again, Congradulations!" she opened the watch, looking at Steele's name inside. "See, this watch is your life, and if I rewind it... I can send you back to yesterday morning. You will remember everything, and you'll have a chance to make thngs right." she toted with the chain for a minute, smiling. "Shall we see if you fix things for good?"

Belladonna nodded, looking at the clock thoughtfully. "Consider it done." she said, beginning to rewind the clock.

Steele's mother smiled, nuzzlig her son one last time. "I'll be watching you, baby..." she said sweetly. "And always remember how mch your father abd I love you." she said.


"Get ready." Belladonna said, before letting go of the crank. As it pulled back, they began to move backwards, the whole night playing out in reverse. As they got closer to the morning, the spped enhanced... And then, finally, the were back where thehad been that morning. Belladonna shook her head, standing on a roof, watching Steele abd Cain sleep. "Deja vu." she eased, grinning.

Cain woke up slowly, looking confused. He was warm, and then saw the blanket. He cocked an eyebrow, looking suspicious. "Whats going on? Dad's usually a grouch on holidays." he said, looking at the bone. He shook his head, not only confused... But a little scared.


Gdie yawned softly, lifting her head up slowly. "Huh? Oh, Mister..." she said cutely, eyes clouded. A few tear lined them. "I don't have Mommy or Daddy anymore... What 'bout you? You go have Marry K'issmass wi' your family." she said kindly, giving a tired little smile. She coughedgeny, her muzzle digit between her paws

Goldie looked sad and stood up on shaky paws. "Really, Mister? I sorry." she said, feeling genuinely sorry For Steele. She sneezed, and sniffed. "You all alone on K'issmass too?" she asked, looking at Steele. "Mommy and Daddy tell me no one be alone today..."


Belladonna nodded, giving a bright smile. "What a sweet guy... He really isn't suc a bad guy afterall. I think this is the beginning of something good."

Goldie looked shocked. She smiled, years lining her eyes. She was happy. "Thank you, Mister..." she said, trying not to get choked up. No one had ever been kind to her sincer her Parents died.


Belladonna grinned and snapped her fingers. It looked a lot like a light was in her paw. "Id love to gve them a paw." she said abd lit the heater, jumping back as it roared to life, beginning to hea the place.

Cain blinked, standing up slowly. He looked shaken Nd a little upset. "Whats up with you? You are way too cheery for this Holiday" he looked at Goldie, raising an eyebrow. "abd what's with the kid?"

Goldie hid behind one f Steele's legs, blinking as he explained. "A bad dog no help me." she told him plainly. She blushed cutely when asked her name. "my name Eva, but Mommy and Daddy awways called me Goldie-you call me Goldie too, Kay?" she said cutely, her little tail wagging.

Belladonna looked rather upset at the idea. "I'd sooner kill the guy." she said, a little darkly. "Dont worry, if anything goes wrong, I will handle it. But Cain's just a little punk, he won't do squat around Daddy." she said, fluttering her eyelashes.

Cain stood there, his jaw slack abd hanging down. Here was his Father, one of the baddest dogs, someone he looked up to... repenting? It seemed like a weakness to admt you were wrong. Cain looked at Goldie, who hid her face bashfully. He moved past his Father, scffng. "Whatever, man..." he said, a hint of growl in his voice as he walked out.


Gdie looked after Cain, and giggled underneath her breath. "He need a nap, Steele. He cranky." she joked, laughing softly, before letting out a rather cute yawn.


Belladonna sighed, watching Cain be so blatntly disrespectful. "We may have bitten off more than we can chew with that kd." she sad in a monotone, looking helpless.
