The act disappeared immediatly, and Shay quickly shoved Zane over...right into a convenient spot of mud. She wiped away her tears, giggling. "Come on, Zane. You know me better than that. I don't cry over mud," she laughed, reaching to help him up.

"You're ridiulous!" Shay laughed. "But I'll be glad to enlighten you," she added teasingly. "A shower serves the same purpose as a bath does, but instead of sitting in a tub of your own wet dirt, the water pours down on you." She punched him lightly on the arm.

Shay found her grin disappearing as she became lost in thought. His eyes were the only clean thing about him now, even his piercings were muddy. His face was also streaked with eyeliner, which made her feel the urge to laugh. To her surprise, she found herself leaning closer, and closer...until she made contact.
Her eyes widened in shock at her own actions, what was she doing? But his lips, despite the mud, were warm and soft.

Shay didn't resist, and could feel his heartbeat, thumping against her skin. It seemed to be going a mile a minute, the exact same tempo as her's. She felt light-headed and dizzy, and finally remembered to breath through her nose, the fog clearing a little bit. She smiled, despite being in the act of kissing.
