"Then I guess you'll be seeing me in school tomorrow," Victor said happily, although the propect of going back to school after about nearly ten years of skipping didn't seem very exciting to him. At least it made this simple, human girl happy.

"You have no idea what forever looks like," Victor muttered low, but he moved closer to Shay so he could whisper it into her ear. Without thinking his actions through, he pressed a soft kiss to her cheek before pratically disappearing with his quick movements. He didn't stop his fast run until he was home, ready to spend yet another sleepless night on thr prowl.
