((Kay. I'll be the WindClan leader- Goosestar.))

Goosestar hauled himself onto The Great Rock. Every cat knew he only had two lives, as he looked very frail.

Cloudstar surveyed the cat's below him, as did Leafstar. Leafstar looked at the other leaders, wondering who would begin.

"Cloudstar, would you like to start?" Goosestar rasped.

Cloudstar hesitated, then nodded. He was still new to being a leader, Froststar had died only moons before, and Gathering's were a place of wonder and uncertainy for the fluffy cat. "I am sad to say that Darktail, our deputy, died fending off a badger, and protecting our kits. We will remember his courage and loyalty." His voice shook only slightly as he said the words, but most of the cats below put it down to sadness, no anxiety. "I have appointed our new deputy, Featherpelt." Featherpelt stood up, and instantly all eyes locked onto her. Slightly self-conscious, she sat down again, flicking her dusty grey tail.

Cloudstar stepped backwards, surrendering his 'spotlight'. "Would you like o speka next?" he murmured in Tabbystar's ear. He felt relieved to be away from all of the cat's stares, and flicked an ear as his butterflies stoppped fluttering so hard. They still existed, but now didn't fill his mind with fear, and didn't cloud his judgement and decisions.


Rainstorm listened, interested, and let out a small meow of sympathy as the long-furred leader spoke the grave news. A Thunderclan cat, Hollyfur, sat next to her. She happened to be a distant friend of the Riverclan she-cat, and Rainstorm brushed her tail against Hollyfur's black flank. "I'm sorry to hear about Darktail. He was a wonderful cat." Rainstorm didn't know if this were true or not, as she hadn't known him, but it seemed to be the right thing to say about someone who had died. Hollyfur nodded, obviously distressed. Rainstorm remebered suddenly, Darktail had been Hollyfur's father. It must had sorrowed her more than it had the others.

Tabbystar nodded slowly. "Cloudstar, I'm sure Darktail and his clan will grieve for a long time. I am sorry for your loss." she said. "RiverClan has two new members- Tigerkit, and Dustkit, born to Berrypelt." she proudly announced.

Rainstorm smiled at the news. Kits were always a welcomed sign of life, and new warriors.

Tabbystar continued, "RiverClan is satisfied. Leafstar?"

Leafstar smiled before talking. "Shadowclan has two new apprentices, Nightpaw, and Skypaw." She waited for the slight murmurings this caused to cease. She briefly thought of mentioning the attack led by Riverclan, but dismissed the thought. That wasn't a topic suited for Gatherings. "Shadowclan is satisfied." She dipped her head at Goosestar, who was to speak next.

Goosestar stood up, his legs stiff. "Prey stealers!" he hissed.

Surprised murmurings broke out from the cats gathered below, even a few questioning and surprising yowls.

"What do you mean, Goosestar?" Leafstar asked.

"ThunderClan has been stealing our prey!" Goosestar yowled.

Cloudstar's already fluffy pelt fluffed out more, making him look like well, a cloud. "What do you mean? We have never crossed the border before!"

"Lies!" Goosestar spat. "Stop hunting our prey, or you will see we are not as weak you think." he wheezed
"Settle down, Goosestar." said WindClan's deputy, Liontail. "You're very weak. Redheart will give you some poppyseeds when we get home." he cooed.

"This gathering is over." Tabbystar yowled, jumping down from HighLedge.

Thunderclan hurriedly left, the first clan to clear out.

"Wonder what's going on between them," Rainstorm murmured to herself.

Silverclaw glanced nervously at Rainstorm, then left with her clan.
