Tai smiled, looking up at her baby brother. "Anything, Cachen..." she smiled "Hey, do you remember when we first got really close? It was when Momma had to go bring back food..." she remembered it quite well.
Bashkei smiled, sitting down. He thought it'd be best to give the pups a break. "No kidding? Nava certainly is a lucky one."
Goldie nodded, going over and laying down on the opposite side of Tai. She nuzzled her softly, trying to comfort her.
"No thanks!" said Katie, looking at the 'M' etched into her shoulder. "I'd rather the physical torture..." she gulped for a second, thinking on what she had just said. "..No, I mean it..." she said with a shrug. She did mean it, the pain in her shoulder was nothing to the burn in her nose.

Cachen nodded. "Yeah, I remember, we were so tiny back then!" he said, smiling. "We were about half as big as we are now." he said, he looked to Goldie and licked her nose. "Thank you."
Balto nodded. "He decided to head back to try to find Niju last I saw him." he said. "He said he and Nava might not get along but they're still family."
Lenatei nodded. "I know, your will is strong but us canines use our noses a lot, so pain in it is more severe, same with many predators, that's why a skunk's defense works so well." she said, spinning and turning into a skunk with her same colors as her normal selve's and giggling, trying to cheer her daughter up with a joke.

Tai giggled. "You got nervous, because Momma wasn't there, and so I cuddled up next to you and licked your ear...remember?" she smiled and licked her brother's ear tenderly.
Goldie giggled when her nose was licked, and nodded gently. She just wanted to hear the two talk.
Bashkei sighed. "Yes...my nephew's become very unstable." he said sadly. He loved his brother very much, and loved both his neice and nephew.
Katie couldn't help but laugh when her Mother changed, looking at her oddly. "It's weird to not see a white stripe running down your back, Mama."

Cachen nodded. "And we just cuddled togather and talked about momma." he said. "...Momma sure can ger herself into messes, can't she?"
Balto nodded. "He attacked us awhile back...tried to forcebreed Lena, we stopped him though."
Lena whimpered at that. She looked up to Bashkai. "That was scary." she said.
"Yeah, I guess I've always had that stripe anyway." said Lenatei, smiling. "Any other animal you'd like to see me turn into?"

Tai nodded, laughing softly. She cuddled close to Cachen, putting her head on her paws. "Yea, she can...I think that's why we're here though." she laughed again, her headache going away.
Bashkei rubbed Lena's head, looking sympathetic. "You must remember, Niju is not well in the head...That trip under the ice caused him great damage. He doesn't mean anything he does." he said, almost trying to lie to himself. He wanted to believe his nephew was still the same.
Katie thought "Anything that could haunt Mako, Mama?" she asked with a laugh.

Cachen nuzzled his sister. "I know, but you and Tai get in trouble a lot too, just not as bad of trouble."
"Well this dog we know Steele, he was with Mako, tried to forcebreed Tai but last time we met him, he'd made the choice to completely turn his life around." said Balto. "He even helpped us stop his daranged son Cain."
"There's not much I'm afraid." said Lenatei. "Only thing I think he's afraid of is losing money."

Tai looked up at Cachen, cocking a brow. "Lena drags me into all of it. I'm there just in case something starts heading south."
Bashkei nodded. He didn't know Steele, so there wasn't anything he could say. Inwardly, he was appalled at the idea of someone trying to lay a wrong paw on little Tai or Lena. "There is an ability to change in all of us. If we know the consequences."
Katie smirked, her tail slowly starting to wag. "Hmmm, then there must be some way we can influence him losing money."

"Yeah, Lena's got an adventurious spirit, though it seems I'm the most danger prone." said Cachen, chuckling.
Fang walked over. "Steele was my dad." he said. "I told you when we first met he disowned me, well last time we met, he 'reowned' me." he said. "He's changed an awful lot." he said. "He's trying hard to make up for what he did."
"Other than making his dog lose a fight, I don't know." said Lenatei. "I could always transform into a robber and steal it." she said. "But that might make him even harder on his dogs to win it back."
Mako walked down with a gas mask on, which was strange, considering the smell had disappated enough that it'd only be annoying to a normal human. "Hey lobo." he said. "I've got good news, I won't be here till noon tomarrow, its the Full Moon tonight and on the Full Moon, I go up to a cabin I have in the mountains." he said. "I have a condition that makes the Full Moon a bad time for me, so I'm going to leave Titan in charge of you." he said. "He's allowed to do anything but try to forcebreed you yet, if he does, feel free to kick him where it hurts." he said. "Like this." he said sadistically and kicked Katie between her hind legs hard enough to lift her off the ground, though as before, made sure it didn't permentally damage her.

Tai giggled, her tail wagging rapidly.
Bashkei nodded. "So I recall you telling me...but at least it is in his lifetime he changes, instead of his afterlife."
Katie didn't have time to answer her Mother, and stood quickly and defensively when Mako came down. She was puzzled; the vapors had dissipated, but the stench hadn't...but Mako was only human. She scrutinized his words, seeming suspicious of the human. However, all feeling left her as he kicked her sharply in between her legs, causing her to buckle to the ground.

Cachen nodded. "Ever sense we first left the den, remember?"
Lena smiled. "Steele raised Goldie." she said, smiling and wagging her tail.
Mako laughed, being a sadist. "But remember, Titan's not as gentle as me, I'm trying not to permently harm you." he said. "You gotta be healthy to deliever pups." he said and gave her another sharp kick in the groin and left.

Tai nodded. "It was scary leaving for the first time...wasn't it?"
Bashkei nodded, smiling. "Then he definitely has become different...she is a very happy pup." he nuzzled his granddaughter. Just like you Jakushta..." he said softly, messing up Lena's headfur. He loved speaking the way his own Mother taught him.
Katie glared. "I'll heal...And once I go home, I will add to my family..." she cocked a brow. "You're not going to get your way..." a tear of pain dissapeared into her fur.

Cachen nodded. "Yeah...and then the first thing we did once we got playing was you and Lena waundered off and got skunked." he said, chuckling.
Lena cocked her head. "What's that mean Grandpa?"
Lenatei whimpered and hugged her daughter. "Are you alright?" she asked, worried. "I know that had to hurt." she said. She whined. Her eyes glowed and she looked over her daughter. "No perment damage, just some bruising, you'll be sore there for awhile, maybe be a little shakey on your hind legs but no long term damage I can see."

Bashkei laughed. "Jakushta means 'little one with adventure in the heart.'. I can tell how curious you are just by being near you. There's layers of hidden skunk spray under your scent."

Lena nodded. "Yeah...first time I was out of the den, me and Tai got skunked."
"Lena and Tai are both adventurious, they're always getting in trouble." said Balto, smiling.
"And I kept trying to get close to you to make sure you were ok but I couldn't take the smell." said Cachen, waiting for Tai to continue, Cachen had ran off and gotten himself skunked so he could get close to Tai to comfort her.
OOC: Its fine, I do it as well.
Lenatei nodded. "Want some ice?" she asked, knowing how bad having that area bruised would hurt. She formed an ice ball with her powers and set it down if Katie wanted it. "Just hold it over the area with your front paws, it'll help with the bruising."

Bashkei couldn't help but laugh. "Poor Gikani.." he said softly, rubbing Lena's head once more. He tilted his head up, looking at the sun. "There's only a little bit of sunlight left. In three...four days time there'll be no sun at all."
Tai smiled, her eyes filling with tears. "Then you made a skunk angry and got skunked too, so you could get close to me." she sniffed, getting closer to her brother.
Katie smirked. "I can deal with some bruising, Mama...I have dealt with worse. I remember my first hunt...it didn't end well." she winced at the memory-a young buck had scraped her side with his growing antlers. However, in the end, she was still able to kill it.
