"Alright..." said Aniu, she tried remembering. In honesty, she was still saddened that she'd been taken from her family so early and deeply missed them.

"No, its quite alright." said Aniu. "You see I was my packs Alpha female, we lived near Nava's pack and in fact I was good friends with them. They hold me so highly because in their times of need, when they needed help I always came to help them, even if it was alone." she said. "Then one day their was an avalanch in the valley near my pack."

"Well I went to find out what was going on." said Aniu. "And I found a sled team had been hit by the avalanch." she said. "The only dog that survived was a Husky named Jarret." she said. "I helpped him back to health and as I did, we fell in love." she said. "My pack wasn't entirely receptive to a dog as Alpha male but accepted my discion." she said. "We spent a year togather and I had our pups, Balto was one of them." she said.

Aniu took a deep breath. "A few months later, I was hunting for food for the pups, Balto followed me without me knowing until a bear showed up." she said. "I held it off while he ran...the bear threw me into the ocean and I drown." she said. "Balto ended up in Nome." she said. "And I was his Spirit Guide...but my mate and other pups, they don't know what happened, they never got to see me again...I never got to see my other pups grow up." she said, looking very upset.

"I knew how to swim, the bear broke my legs." said Aniu. "I know, it was hard and sad for me." she said. "But at least I got to see Balto grow up to be such a big hero."
