Quote: KrazyArc075-cwp, I think you are missing the point of this thread. This is where you ask legitimate questions of the cast, not provoke a flame war -if this is your intentions or not it's not for me to say. All I know is the fact that you need to drop this. If you have a problem with Dragon Tamer's way of writing out his characters, then you should stop reading the stories that they appear in if it irks you so badly. After all, in the long shot, this really isn't worth the fuss and trouble you're kicking up. This is a story. You've already stated clearly that you think that Pete is being slighted. You have said your peace. Now you can go on with your daily activities knowing that you got all this off your chest. Well I most of the time don't leave well enough alone. This is not a flame war! For me it isn't, I'm asking on the spot questions, they are not liked. I don't flame anything. I just asked questions, and what is being said through their replies. This aint a fuss, nor I'm I kicking up anything, I'm far, far too lazy for that. It's something which I don't care for. But then..I like to argue so I guess people are far more sensitive then I am. I still read the story because I really like the story. I can't help it, like WOW you can't stop! lol Just look here there is someone acts, or group. Then there is someone the person. I like Toby the story, but I don't like Toby the person/dog. There is a huge difference between the two, like, 'I like what someone does, but I don't like the person', same thing here. Sorry but i have to ask another question Pete have you ever heard the whole story to "Hamlet"?

I was only pointing out that you were going about it all wrong. After a while, it sounded a lot like you were bashing, so that's why I gave the warning. This could have went on FOREVER if someone didn't step in and stop it before it got out of hand, since it seems both you and DT like to argue your points, and don't like to back down at all. It gets very tiresome to read a long drawn out argument in a thread that is meant for fun.

It's a wonderful story, and I think it speaks to you in way if you heard the whole thing. *moves away to Dragon Tammer in private* Fair text to text yes? Twisted very much so, but I hope he reads it now that I put it in his mind set, his life set, and his feelings yes? I know its far fetched, but he thinks this way, no doubt! Now I have a famous story which is like him, Pete is like Hamlet, although Hamlet over-thinks things through FAR too much, they're similar yes? I hope he hears it! *returns to Pete* Well is it a story worth hearing? Quote: I wasn't meaning to insult you in any way. I was only pointing out that you were going about it all wrong. Hmm I think what you mean is that DragonTammer and I, are both headstrong, to me it was great fun, until I found out Terry had given up, a hero in my eyes gave up, so after that it lost a fun tone after that. Dragged it out maybe a lil' too long. So until that point I'd say it fun, because people would see the utter most witts of the characters! What they could do when the heavy questions where asked, they did fine well job! *claps* But...some things for my own good I shouldn't have asked, keenly with Terry, I know now what's going on with her mind set, and it was depressing to me. I don't think it have gone on forever as you can see it slowly was getting smaller and coming to an end, my interview of the heavy questions was ending. The mark of that is when my bet turned to be a bad one, Terry's words, put water on my fire for the apparent 'flame war' some people say...in a way....... I will say, I plead guilty to lacking in social prowess.

Toby: (muttering to Luna) Are you picking up the irony here? Dragon Tamer: Krazy, you're going way too far with this. I will not have my story compared to, as you describe Hamelt, a sleaze story - Kelev and I have both worked too hard to keep our writing out of that muck, and I for one am not going to tolerate anyone, friend or foe, trying to drag our efforts into the garbage heap. As for your comparison, MASSIVELY out of context. 1) Hamlet's mother never properly grieved over her late husband's death. Terry, on the other hand, grieved to such extent that she nearly died herself. 2) The King in Hamlet was murdered. Yukon died in an accident which neither Rex nor Terry had any real part in (by which I mean, neither of them set him up in any way, shape, or form), although Terry did consider herself as the guilty party for quite some time. 3) You speak of Hamlet outdoing them. Let me know when Pete pulls that off with Rex and Terry. Terry: I never got involved with Rex or with Yukon for power. Where on earth did you get an idea like that? Dragon Tamer: Krazy, I'm sorry. But you've gone too far this time. I asked you to wait for the next fanfic to clear everything up, and you refused. I'm reporting you.

Krazy -- I think it would be best to ask things such as that via PM so as not to disrupt the topic and offend other readers. DT has said your questions will be answered in the next fic so I suggest waiting until you've read that to continue your questions.

Well, I usually try to do the right thing, and I feel bad about it when I mess up. I guess you could say I'm a nice guy. Luna: And slightly crazy. Toby: [rolling eyes]Yeah, that too. I get it from my wife.

But you've gone too far this time. I asked you to wait for the next fanfic to clear everything up, and you refused. I'm reporting you. To clear things up, I referred to Hamlet having the muck (I was describing Hamlet, I guess I didn't make it obvious enough.) not the Toby story, Hamlet...not the Toby story. To frank, Terry that is obviously true you never saw it like that. Just in Pete's mind you didn't properly grieve, so I tried to pressure him to read it, by having quote " Very Twisted", and " Far Fetched." I don't need reminding on what "I" already wrote. View on what has happened very much like his own views kinda. Twisted and far fetched! I don't understand why you think, I thought like that..sheesh! Do I appear crazy to you....alright...that wasn't best thing to say lol. Dragon Tammer I went to you in the post saying it wasn't how I actually thought, Hamlet sleazy, violent, death. Toby nunnery, interesting, wonderfully written. Making it stand out like a swore thumb, I NEVER even said Toby story was REMOTELY sleazy! Hamlet is! Another note, I think Hamlet could easily out do, Terry and Rex, he is freakin' genius! Pete on the other hand is not, well the only thing he has out done is Terry's heart, gone with the wind :<. I will repeat myself Hamlet is a story of violence, death, and sleazy things, NOT Toby's! Come on Dragon, frankly what the heck? How did you get SOO confused? o.O This will be funny memory in a month or two.

Dragon Tamer: Alright, point taken; I did misconstrue one or two things you said. That said, however, I had reason. There's a little thing called guilt by association, and that's what I try to avoid happening to my stories. You say one thing is like another, and that can give the idea that it is like it in multiple aspects (an example, and this is just off the top of my head: a little girl was told by her mother that things with wings, meaning birds, have gizzards. The girl concluded that since angels have wings, they must also have gizzards). As for the matter of Hamlet's intelligence, I'm not going to get into that. But you're overlooking a basic law of literature: Good guys win sooner or later. Hamlet won because he was in the right, not just because he was smart enough to win. Pete is a dummy, yes, but he's also a bad guy. And that's part of the reason he loses. The bad guy loses even if he's samrter. Let's say Sauron and Frodo sat down to a chess game. I bet you anything Sauron would win. See my point? I have to admit, likening Pete's view to a classic piece of literature was a creative idea. And, now that I understand it properly, one that I can say I rather like. Toby: Creative, alright. Especially since... eh, I won't say it.

Kelev wrote: Pete: What were you thinking when you were listening to Toby as he was saying 'goodbye' to you? Pete: I was kinda suprised how good I felt. It felt good, really good, because he was right. I had done the right thing for once, and it really mattered. I guess I always thought it didn't matter what I did or who I did it to, but he really got through to me. And I was kinda laughing too. You gotta laugh when somebody gives a goodbye speech like that to a box of hides. wolf, spirit, balto. wrote: Terry--> What were your feelings when Toby blindfolded you and didn't tell you where you were going? Did his attitude make you suspect anything- since he was so devastated about losing Pete before? And how did you feel when Toby took off your blindfold to show your son standing right in front of you? Terry: I thought he was planning a surprise for me, probably something he and Rex had come up with trying to make me feel better. Rex: Sweetheart, in a million years I never could have come up with something like that. Terry: As for how I felt when he took off the blindfold and I saw we were in Pete's yard, I was devastated. I was expecting something nice, and he had taken me to what I believed was the scene of a murder. My son's murder. And then when I saw Pete, I can't begin to describe how I felt. I was seeing my son, my son who I thought was dead, and he actually loved me again. I think in that moment, I got a taste of what Heaven must be like: as a poem I once head said it, "to pass from pain to perfect peace."
