Kisasi ran after Karani and stopped next to the pond. He watched the fish swim around, transfixed by their bright colors. He flicked his paw in the water and the fish scattered. Kisasi laughed and padded on, keeping a look out for the boundary Hatima had told them about.

Kisasi charged after Karani, determined to reach the tree first. He was almost there when he realized that Karani was gonna win. He sped up and tackled her from behind. While she was on the ground, he jumped off of her, raced to the tree, and set his paw on it. "I win! and I caught you too. So I won both times!"

Kisasi knees buckled as Karani landed on top of him. He pretended to go limp and then launched himself upwards, knocking her off his back. This is exactly how it was when we were cubs Kisasi thought with a smile.
