Kat had hitch hiked a ride to her hometown, getting paid for her ‘services’ along the way. Kat had become rather wealthy; she always had enough money to eat and to check into a hotel room, but rarely ate, and rarely paid for her own hotel room. So her wallet had expanded, and she had more money than she knew what to do with, which wasn’t saying much. Her latest hitch hiking buddy dropped her off right in front of Alfred’s house, he offered to come inside, but she cussed him out like there was no tomorrow and was sure she’d never see him again by the time she reached the door.
Kat didn’t look so great anymore. She used to radiate this type of energy, this clean, young, pure, energy. It was gone now, not that she had noticed. She was still that same-old-Kat, on the inside. On the outside she looked like death itself. Purple bags were streaked across her face, and her skin was a pasty white. Kat was wilder now too, she’d picked up the “Wild card” trait a few months ago. She was unpredictable, but not so easy to set off anymore. Kat usually brushed negative comments off and refused to feel anything was anyone.
She rang the door bell at a rate that’d make the heartbeat of a hummingbird wish that is was faster.

Alfred looked the same, a bit taller, brighter smile, if tht was possible. He strode towards the door, and opened it, blinking as he looked at Kat. He stood there, for a moment, before Arthur spoke up.
"Alfred who is at the door?" The brit asked, walking into the hallway and dropping his tea cup.
"Kat?" They asked in unision, both boys' faces a mixture of shock and horror.

“What’re you guys starin’ at?” Kat laughed, running into the house and throwing her arms around Alfred, she kissed him on the cheek, and again, she was a wild card now. Kat pulled away from Alfred and hugged Arthur tightly as well. Kat laughed and grinned wildly, a new crazy glint in her eyes. Over the months living on her own, to a certain extent, she had gone mad.

"N-Nothing.." Alfred replied, and Arthur winced when she hugged him.
"Sh** Kat you've been smoking!" Arthur said, catching a whiff of her breath, being able to recognize the scent anywhere. Alfred frowned.
"Kat what happened to you?" Alfred asked, poking one of the bags under her eyes.

Kat looked at Arthur like he was crazy, “Everyone smokes dude, get with the times.” She chimed, the insulting tone he’d spat going clear over her head. She looked at Alfred as if he were crazy as well, her sky blue eyes mulling over his words. “I’ve been traveling around, hey, did you know that people with PAY you to have s*x with them? Who knew, right?! I have a boat load of money off of it! Did you also know that the BEST country fried stake is in Texas? I went there last week, it’s hot there. Oh my GOD you HAVE to come to New York with me Alfred! Next time I go, I’m taking you with me, it’s so big there!” She babbled, not realizing that she was speaking quickly, too quickly for someone to actually fallow. She was too hyped up on drugs to really understand what was all going on.

Alfred and Arthur both took a step back, and Alfred frowned.
"Dude you're a hooker?" He asked, disgust coating his voice. "Thats-"
"Revolting."
"Odd."
"Sick."
"Wrong." Alfred and Arthur said, trying to be as polite as possible.

“That’s what it’s called? Okay. I thought I was being a pioneer or whatever.” Kat mused, giggling a little. “Oh my goodness! It is SO relaxing living on my own!” I Kat chimed. Rachel and Henry eventually gave up the search for her, this pleased Kat.

"That's...great, well I was actually about to run to the store, do you mind stayin' here and guarding Arthur?" Alfred asked, but he was already out the door. Arthur stood there for a moment, before looking innocently back at Kat.

Kat gave Arthur a wild grin, her breathing was ragged, like a wild animal.
"So Arthur, what'cha like to do? Oh! I have a quessstiion! Have you and Alfred had s*x yet?" Kat asked, her people skills floating out the door.

Arthur smiled, and scratched the back of his head.
"Um, yeah." He answered, grabbing a dish towel and kneeling down to wipe up the tea he'd spilled.

Kat kneeled down also, sizing him up. He was a lot cuter than she remembered. Kat looked at him and brought his chin up with the tips of her fingers. Her eyes darted to his lips and she brought her face to his. Kat broke away the kiss quickly, not satisfied with the kiss. There had been no spark. Why did Alfred like him so much then?

Arthur frowned in shock, falling backwards into the mess.
"Aww sh**.." He mumbled, seeing the back of his pants were all wet. "Um, what was...that for?" Arthur asked, blinking his big green eyes in a confused way.

“I wanted to find out why Alfred likes you so d*mn much. I didn’t feel anything, so I dunno’ why he feels anything.” Kat said bluntly. She shrugged and stood up, disappointed a bit.

"Well why would you feel something? It took Alfred like, a while to feel something." Arthur said with a shrug, attempting to dry his backside, before huffing in annoyance.
"I've got to go change..be right back. Dont. go anywhere." He said, trotting upstairs into Alfred's room where he'd left his plaid pants.

“No promises!” Kat chimed as he trotted upstairs. Kat thudded down on the couch, then felt herself fall asleep immediately, she was more tired than she realized.
