Wolf nodded and pulled a smaller compact gun from the shed, tossing one to Egg. "Try this .22," she said, grabbing her own. "Careful. It's got a wicked kickback when you first start using it."

Egg nodded, takin the gun and aiming it at a new target, before shooting. She felt a seering pain in her shoulder right after she shot it.
"Oowwwww!"

Wolf chuckled. ".22's have a bad kick to em. But they get the job done. They can injure without killing. That's important when you're looking for a suspect and need information." She held her gun in her hand and raised her arm, not even aiming before she took a shot, hitting the dead center. "Some one us..shoot better then others." she shrugged.

"Show off." Egg huffed sarcastically. "I bet..Crackers could shoot better than that!"

"It's not showing off..it's lots of practice. We did lots of shooting in the military." Wolf said. "And i could shoot that duck ten times over before he could even quake."

Egg blinked, then rushing over to Wolf and hugging her tightly.
"Please don't shoot Crackers!" she begged.

Wolf laughed. "I'm kidding! I'm kidding! Geeze!"

"okay." Egg replied with a sniffle.

"Don't worry. I wouldn't shoot your duck." Wolf chuckled.

"Good cause then I'd have 'ta sick my turtle on ya'." Eg said teasingly.

Wolf laughed. "Yea cause i'm terrified of that thing." she paused as her phone rang. She pulled the phone from her pocket and glanced at the number with a groan.

"Who is it?" Egg asked curiously, trying to look over Wolf's shoulder
To read the screen.

The screen read "Cheif" and a number that read "000-0000".
"That's a work call. Hold on.." she said, answering it. "Maybe it'll be a job you can come on if ya want," she said to Egg before talking to her boss. "Sup Cheif?...mhm...Yea. I can be changed and on the road in five. Sound good? Alright...And i got someone accompanying me. No..Ryker had to go off on a job or something. A friend of mine."

Egg perked excitedly, practically jumping up and down.
"Yay!"

Wolf flinched at Egg's loud excitement. "Yeea..that's then.." she said to Chief when he inquired who was shouting. "Kay. Gonna go get the job done. Call you when i'm finished, bye!" she hung up. "Chief's gonna think you're crazy."
