"Nah! I'm good..." Adam replied.

"What was the dare?" Leann asked curiously.

"Oh it's nothing?!'

"C'mon Scotty what is it?"

"I umm... was supposed to umm... ask- a girl- out!"

Sydney laughed, and leaned against the door, trying to hear the conversation,

"Can ya hear anything?" Adam asked hopefully.

"Oh umm yeah..." Scotty looked at his feet.

"Oh great, I'm guessin' it was Hope?"

"No..."

"No? Who else would you ask?"

"Umm... You..."

She froze and blinked at him.

"Yeah," Sydney replied. "He told her it was a dare and Leann thought he was supposed to as Hope out, but he was like 'uhh..you.' "

"Umm..."

"For the record Adam told me your secret."

"He what?!"

"I made him tell me!" Scotty said quickly.

"Oooh, Scotty ratted you out." Sydney hummed.

"Aww man, now she's gonna stab me with a fork..." Adam whimpered.

"Look just say NO and we can get this stupid dare over with." Scotty replied.

Leann was quiet for awhile and Scotty blinked.

"You don't wanna say No... do ya?..."

She looked at her feetand shrugged.

"ooh, shut up!" Sydney growled. "Scotty firgured out Leann didn't wanna say no.."

"Okay... this got weird..." Scotty sighed.

"Weird? This from the sixteen year old wearing the Adventure Time t-shirt!" Leann smirked.

"Hey, It's a cool shirt!" Scotty grinned causing Leann to laugh.

"And now it's boring again." Sydney huffed.

"Oh let 'em talk... they'll get back into the dare in a few minutes." Adam said, looking around the closet.

"Sure sure.."Sydney yawned, leaning against the wall.

Adam was silent for a few minutes, wishing he had his phone back. "Ya know... last time I was in a closet with a girl, it was at a party, and we where play 7 Minutes in Heaven... It's a boring game, ya just sit in the dark until they decide to let you out." he said laughing slightly.

"Mhm." Sydney hummed, staring boredly at the other wall.

Adam became silent again and he but his chin in his hand which rested on his knee, awkward silences never bothered Adam.
