sam felt herself hit something hard. Then a pair of arms slid under her and lifted her up. she felt softness underneath her now. she opened her eyes to find Dante and her aunt around her. "Dante?" sam croaked. Her mouth felt life a tonne of acid had been poured down it. she noticed something in dantes face. He wasn't happy about something. "Dante whats wrong?" Sam tried to sit up and nearly feel off the bed again.

Dante quickly changed his epression "Nothing" he smiled weakly

"seriously, whats wrong?" asked sam, sitting up better this time. His eyes weren't happy, though his face was. sam lent and gripped his hand.

Sams aunt could see this was private so she put all the food down and took the bib of sam. "eat that food samantha." she said and then she left.

"yeah whatever." said sam, still looking into Dantes eyes, trying to figure out what could make him so unhappy.

Dante looked away "I was just thinking"

"about what?"asked Sam. She moved along the bed so there was enough room for Dante to lie down next to her. She patted the space as an indicator for Dante to lie down. "what were you thinking about?"

"Eh, Growing up with the pack" said Dante lying next to her "Thing were...difficult"

"what do you mean?" asked sam. She was studying Dantes face but couldnt quite put her finger on what was wrong.

Dante shook his head "Like i said, Things were difficult" he said "Its not like growing up human"

"er... 0k."said sam, sitting up. she could tell he was holding back something. for an excuse not to speak, she started to eat. She glanced out the window then at the clock. She choked on her toast.

"What?" said Dante sitting up.

sam stood up. still chokeing, her eyes watering.she banged her chest till she stopped choking. she went over to her dressing table and looked in the mirror. she mopped herself up then turned around. "its 11 o'clock. i have to be in school tomorrow!"said sam, looking like she was about to explode. she felt like three hundred tuns had been on her shoulders all day but she only just noticed the weight. "hang on, where do you sleep?" she asked turning around.

"Around" said Dante " alot of people mistake wolves for stray dogs"

"well, tonight you can stay on the sofa. i'm not having you sleep around randomly. what if Randal is out side right now? you aren't going out." said Sam, walking around the room and getting a pellow then getting her blanket. she went out the room, nor wait for an answer and started to make the sofa into a bed.

Dante Followed her down "Well, um,Ok" he said

sam finished making the sofa. "right you know where the bathroom is, and kitchen and everything, so night." she said whilst randomly pionting in the direction where every thing is. "remember, no leaving the house!" sam sat down on the sofa and closed her eyes. " well that seem like very thing..." sams head rolled to the side and she snored gently.
