And even though the sidebar on the left lists a new message in the inbox (and still does, and even though there HAVE been new messages arriving since), the discrepancy still exists.

I PM myself when this happens. That works for me.

Well, I actually figured it out this time. I went onto Balto Source and emptied out my inbox, and found a latent PM there from a deleted account (probably a spambot, or else some troublemaker or troll who has since fled), which contained the following message: It did not appear in my forum inbox. Very strange. I reported the PM, and have -- for the time being -- kept it in the box in case it needs to be referred back to. Well, that's what happened THIS time anyway. But I've had this glitch happen before when there's been no latent unread PM. So I don't know...

Not exactly sure if this should go here, but I've been going through the different forum skins(ADGTH, Balto, LATT, Spirit, etc.) and I've noticed a few problems. Some are major, other minor.
With the ADGTH skin, just about everything is fine, but that little logo(I guess you could call it that) at the top left corner of the screen that says, for example, "Balto Source Forums" on the Balto Source forums; it says "Balto Source Forums" for the ADGTH skin as well while on the other skins for different sources on this site, such as LATT, it has the appropriate source logo. This is minor, but something that looks rather out of place.
Now onto more serious problems. While going through the different source skins, I noticed some major problems with the buttons. You know those buttons that tell you there's a new post, or that you posted in that topic? On every skin but the Balto, ADGTH, and Lion King skins, these don't show. There's also a lack of reply and new topic buttons, which is very important(that's a no-brainer). And some of the icons farther down the screen on the Board Index, don't show.

The logo isn't a glitch, it just hasn't been changed. As for the posts, those buttons need to be added. It isn't Steet who is making these skins, it's the graphics builder of sites. (Like myself.) The skins are just incomplete.

No problem.
But here is a glitch I've noticed. The new registered member thing at the bottom of the forum. It never changes.

Sorry for the double post.
Another thing I noticed is that when I click on the questions page and view the question, the "new" button doesn't go away. I have to go back and view the question one or two more times to make it go away.

Following something similar to Mighty's "New" button glitch here's a bug on Mulan Source: Attachment:

Those "New" buttons never go away. It's extremely annoying, especially since I can't tell what section really *is* updated.

Ansem555 wrote: I've recently been trying to check topics so I can actually see what's new in them by checking the not-so-new 'new post' topics, but there is a problem. For music, on the second page there are topics that when you click them, they stay red as if you didn't just check them and they still count as 'new post' topics. It happens in other places to, like Video games, books, and possibly other spots I have yet to check. This is because, when a member posts and then deletes their account, the topic still recognizes that a member posted. However, we are unable to see that deleted post so the topic still stays "unread". I'm not so sure this can be fixed, but I ignore this problem by clicking on "mark all topics as read". -------------------------------- I'm unable to comment on image galleries because of this error: Notice: Undefined variable: display in /usr/home/steetboris/animsource/inc/fanimage.php on line 55 Edit: The comment seems to have appeared after a while, but that error is causing an extremely long delay. -------------------------------- The "New" bug is still going on for fanworks, too.
