Blue Let go as he claws sliced down it's belly, the bear fell to the ground. she checked it's breathing. "It's dead." she sighed. She grabbed it's neck at the back and began to drag it slowly.

Amio gave back the pup. "Alright." he said quickly as he ran to help BLue, the bear was moving a bit quicker now.

Fang lay there, unable to move. He had broken the bear's... something with his head, no protection or anything. His eyes were crossed, and he was seeing everything in double, no, triple. He tried to pick up a paw, but it was too much work. He let his head drop to the ground, unconscious.

As Shade saw Sunny coming back with Fang, she cried out, "Fang!" and rushed over to him. "What on earth..." Shade began to ask Sunny.

"He's fine, He killed the bear, it's just he hit his head.. she said seeing the blood drip from his head.

Kayla was confused at first between all the smells and sounds, and action she did not think she heard matt right. Then she thought he was talking about Blue, then Amio, then Madden, then the new puppy? "Wate a minut!" she said aloud. "Me?" She could not see matt from were she was the scene had become to messy with the bears blood. She hurd Madden and Amio. "I'll take him!" She decided. "Madden I know you want to help but I think this is my rsponcibility." She thought a moment. "If shade doesn't minde you can stay with us untill he wakes up. Infact I'll offer to watch over you and your siblings so she can spend some time with Fang." This sounded like a good plan and a good way to try to better her friendship with shade. After all unless this puppy found a family she would have to get some advice from a more expierienced wolf. The new puppy still unconcies and limp slid on to kaylas back. She shifted her sholders to keep him in place. He was freezing evan colder than kayla who atill shivered. "Matt you coming?" she called out and picked up with a steady trot in the direction of home.

Shade was still walking when Liam, out of nowhere, stuck up his ears and began yipping then bolted off in the direction of the other wolves. "Liam!-" called Shade, but he kept running so Shade followed him. Liam stopped in front of Kayla, holding the puppy, but he still stood and barked. "What's gotten into you, Liam?!" Shade scolded. Liam dropped his tail and ears and looked up at his mother, as if asking if he could take the pup home with them. Shade ignored and asked Kayla, "Do you... have any experience with caring for a pup? At all?"

"A bit but not much..." Kayla admitted. "I used to watch my brothers and sisters before they grew up and started packs of there own but I realy only know basics like hunting and how to chew up there food forethem and that sort of thing." She sighed. "You must be exausted shade three pups is alot to care for. I can watch them for you this evening so you can spend some time with Fang if you like? I think Madden wanted to help take care of the new puppy untill he wakes up." Kayla smiled.

"Well..." Kayla was right. Shade was pretty tired from having to care for three young pups. She hadn't spent time with Fang alone ever since she had the pups, now that she thought about it. "But four pups?" Shade insisted. "Don't you think that's a little... much?"

Matt suddenly walked up to them. "Well..she has me to help her." He said.

"And I wouldn't mind spending some time with Madden and Liam before I go and look for my son." Said Buck, walking out of the bushes, his brown fur (slightly turning grey from age) blew to one side as he emerged.

Shade hesitated, took one more glance of her pups, then sighed, "Okay. But make sure to keep a watchful eye on Liam, he tends to wander."

"We'll take great care of them, we promise." Said Matt, smiling slightly. He then turned to Kayla and his smile widened slightly. He just hoped that she hadn't heard what he had said before, about him having feelings for her. He wasn't quite ready to take another step towards love, for it was an emotion he was just getting used to.

Shade nuzzled each of her pups good bye, and Fang rubbed their little heads with his front paw. "You be good, you hear?" Fang said before sending each one of them off with Kayla and Matt. When Shade left to go back to the den, Fang walked over to Matt and Kayla and warned, "If anything happens to any of them, you'll have to explain to me and Shade. You got that?" he wanted to get the message through. Shade stopped and called, "Fang, you coming?" Fang turned around and ran back to his mate.

Liam snuck away and began climbing a big rock. He laughed as he pretended to be a mountain lion, roaring like a puppy would, then giggling after every one. Suddenly, his foot slipped and he began to fall.

Matt dived forward and caught the puppy in his mouth just before he hit the ground. Then Matt gently placed Liam on the ground safely. He stared down at the little pup, his facial expression was enough to get the message through to any puppy 'Don't do that again'.

Liam hung his head and looked up at Matt with those puppy eyes that say, "I'm sowwy." He whimpered also as he did so. But thank God Matt was there to catch me, Liam thought.
